It will be awesome if they implement it correctly. I don’t understand though why they would model it for the Eitan and not for the merkava or namer. Either way at least they are making the effort to model it for the Eitan. The kontakt 1 better be a placeholder

You’re probably right sadly. Gaijin doesn’t want to make any era better than Russian era. Then again though I have high hopes considering the lengths they are taking to model the derby er. One can only hope and cope considering this is Russia thunder after all

Gaijin making the ERA (hopefully SLERA) of the Eitan worse than Kontakt-1 would be the equivalent of them showing the middle finger to the community.
There are almost 30 years in material sciences and R&D into reactive armor between Kontakt-1 and Rafael’s SLERA. The armor package on the Eitan is also 4-5x as thick compared to a block of Kontakt-1.
But taking a look at how gajin modeled the Puma’s ERA, there is no way of knowing how bad it’ll get.
the era it has right now is only against HEAT, and it does AMAZING against heat, it can even survive an Ataka from a BMPT

That is very delightful. I just hope now they fix its ke values. Overall modeling. And for common sense the iron fist cause it should not have lower reaction time to that of the trophy.

When does the dev server close today? If it hasn’t already that is. I’m just praying they don’t nerf the derby’s and leave the Eitan in an unfinished state like they did with namer
