The main issue is when you find yourself on equal or lower energy states the zero will probably kill you before your higher power output can save you.

i honestly never lost to a zero in a spit, especially because it’s like 50 percent faster compared to the A6M it competes against at all br’s.

Mate how? Most spits aren’t that great, since their Hispanos are far worse than German MG 151’s. They don’t have Minerschosse to kill bombers one-tap, AND the later ones can easily be killed by dragging them into a well-planed dogfight. I have to confess, that I NEVER really kill spits cause most of then time I’m fighting La’s and YaK’s or going base bombing in a B-17.
LOL. Yeah right. A B-17 or anything bigger TOTALLY doesn’t rip it’s wings going over 2-3G. I would rather barrel roll and use my tail gunner. My drunk gunner can do better than a Spit.
Hispanos deal more damage than MG151/20s right now. And have better ballistics too.
For a while this was true, but the MG151’s main ammo has some issues at the moment.

The Hispano’s stealth belts are better than any 151/20 belt and if you’re worried about aiming, use tracers on the .303s because they have close enough to the same velocity.

Hispanos have 900m/s of muzzle velocity, mg151 stealth belts have 700 m/s, you don’t need Minengeschoss to kill bombers in one tap, in fact hispanos are the highest damaging ammo in prop guns.
