While gathering information for a bug report regarding the fact that all Spitfire LF Mk IXc variants have an incorrect 3D model(Community Bug Reporting System), I asked an AI whether Israel ever operated the Spitfire Mk IX equipped with a Merlin 61 engine. It replied that they did not, as Israel only used various versions of the LF Mk IX, all of which were powered by the Merlin 66 engine.
Does anyone have any information that could help me put together a report?
I found this book, which might contain some relevant information; however, I don’t intend to buy it solely for the purpose of correcting errors in the game. That said, if any fellow member already owns it and it mentions which Spitfire models were used, I would appreciate it if you could take a photo so I can use it for a future report.
