Finally got around to try it in test drive and honestly im sold, it feels nice to fly.
I know its gonna be probably different story in battle but im grinding it.

Just wondering, why do I need to play this when I can utilise Scimitar in 8.7BR? which can also mount four 1000lb bombs and four ADEN?
But Scimitar can also utilise guided weaponry like Bullpup or AIM-9B :P
So, Gaijin, are you guys planning to give India to the British, but without the juiciest parts?
Are we not allowed to have ANY rank 5~6 planes without getting over-BRed?

People here already said that stock it outperforms spaded Hunter.
I think that it’ll be a bit weak in ground RB, but to me it seems like it will be excellent in air RB. It has a great climbrate and top speed for a subsonic, and decent manoeuvrability too.
The only downside I’ve seen is a lack of A2A missiles, and poor energy retention, but people just refuse to admit that it might be kinda good.

Im actually glad it comes without some missiles like 9Bs as it can sit at 9.0 with current matchmaker, which should allow it to play without ever meeting all-aspects if i recal correctly (not at PC right now so i cant check)
You are correct. Lowest AA is 10.3.
Though instead you face the issue or dealing with supersonics with AAMs without an AAM you can send chasing up their tail pipes.

Listen. this thing is a Swift F.1 with ground ordinance. I don’t care that it outturns a hunter, that’s every plane at that br. It gets no ccip and there is nothing that says it should be 9.0.
Su-25 gets R-60M. But at 9.0 it will face the Draken, mirage III and 5F, F-1, T2 and other planes with aim-9Js and R-60s.
So yeah gonna be a pain

Its in the Britain TT. You have to add 0.3 to 0.7 BR just from that alone
It consider being able to pull 10+Gs at speeds above 600kmh pretty maneuverability.
I don’t know why people aren’t accepting that it has good flight performance.
It should be 9.0 for its Mach 0.93 speed on the deck and incredibly good climbrate for a subsonic. It also can turn well enough, and is not lacking in acceleration unlike other 9.0s.
+it’s rank V so it has an airspawn
Why won’t people accept that Britain got a decent plane for one?

Yeah I dont get that myself, test flight it feels really nice. My only complaint is GRB BR being le terrible. Sad at planes getting screwed by SAM systems, yet alone proxy fuse radar systems when they lack CCIP/RP to allow them to actually you know, get decent guesswork on where the bomb will land while using their mobility to fight it.
Would be fine with it fighting all the gepards and the like, in fact looking forward to it, just dont want to constantly fight rolands.
I wouldn’t be suprised if its either up-ranked or redesignated a Fighter, cause it’s going to be extremely good with an airspawn
