Launch 4 of them at a single target : cannon, back of the tank, ground, MG. Too bad, go capture the enemy point and reload them all very, very slowly.
On the other hand, we have Russia and all their 4-ready-to-fire ATGMs IFVs which perform A LOT better.
I think it is another manifestation of russian bias, done on purpose. Make one of the most iconic NATO super technology weapon completely useless.
Something should be done about spikes missiles and equivalent.

Spikes can be launched (irl) manually. Could be a good buff if Gaijin says FnF it´s too overpowered.
having played the kf41 and freccia a decent amount I dont think they should be, sure these spikes arent great but these vehicles would be much higher BR if they were and I can still get 1-2 spike kills per spike vehicle spawn which i think is fine for what they are, maybe the spike BR tax could be lessened if we got decompression but rn its fine

With the CRV (it only gets 2 spare when the freccia gets 8 spares wtf gaijin) Im lucky to get a single hit with them in a match let alone kills. their guidance is stupidly poor and getting a lock is awkward unless you spam the lock button.
I get it gaijin its not a russian ATGM but at least be less blatant
not gaijins fault there are easy sources (1 source and one image of the rack for them) for where the freccia stores them, if you can find those for the CRV it would get them
a lot of the time when people complain about this its because their gunner sights needs los to lock

Spike attack angle bug has been accepted. Now we just wait.
But its not a bug but more of a balancing issue. Gaijin could fix it but chooses not too.
Should be hitting the roof of the turret but aims for the turret cheeks and UFP more.

i stopped using the commander sight to avoid this issue. When its just a turret over the horizon the locks are spotty
yeah… and if theyre behind a single stick on a tree they suddenly dont even have a thermal signature but i feel thats more of an engine limitation than anything else unfortunately

Awful is too strong of a word because… you compared them to also awful missiles? They’re awful. It routinely takes 4 missiles to kill russian MBTs.

only because you arent in LOS for as long. their kill probability if through the floor in comparison to even a well placed swingfire
then we have different experiences i can normally take them out in 2 (when firing from the side, it is worse from the front)

Would be awesome to see this report get implemented. Especially if they can add the retargeting capabilities it has. Spike buff would be great if they cant get ammo boxes for namer and such. Freccia doesn’t need ammo box though if the spike buff goes through in my opinion.
Side on you can just gun people with the autocannon. The ATGM is for frontal engagement
like to be clear by no means do I perform well with the kf41 and even the freccia but spikes give the greatest dopamine hits when they actually do stuff, I had a game on maginot line in the freccia and i went 6 for 6 on spike kills its was amazing
not really a great option in the freccia on long range maps, plus it puts your at higher risk of being shot at compared to poking for just a second to fire a spike
I play the freccia and kf41 as well when I’m getting 12 plus spikes off a game and seeing a return of maybe one or two kills and at most four assist thats an issue lets be real.
