But Gaijin is still asleep, while in conflicts this type of ATGM is successfully used against tanks.
The lr2 have a 5.5 km range from ground vehicles, the 10 km value likely from rotatory or fixed wing aircrafts.
On the brochure that it is liked, on the same page that you used, states that the range is “up to 5.5 km”

that’s correct in a brochure of the spike LR2 it says 5.5 km ground and 10 km air
It doesn’t really matter how big the range is if the Spike doesn’t even work 2% as well as the original and delivers its performance!
The fact is that this problem has existed for over a year and hasn’t been fixed.
I always thought there were capable programmers there, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

kinda late but yeah this means a massive buff for the spike LR2 and rn there is a bug report in process for making the penetration much better
I don’t think this is much needed fix, since apparently the code for top attack does not work, tweaking stats probably won’t help much.

And ? No amount of penetration changes the fact that Spike (an other) goes horizontally through thickest tank armor instead of going through vertically through thin roof armor.

yes, but the penetration buff would still make it go trough even if it hits a hard part
Max g-load, loft evalation, target angle to acceleration multiplier
pretty much everything plays into it, it can now climb higher and turn faster /more in a short time

Do you know why?
Because when it comes to impact angle, all those missiles acts like beam riders. Impact angle angle is determined by mutual position of launch vehicle (or launch position) and target, not the missile vector.
Lofting is sadly in term of impact angle just optical gimmick.
