FNF should never be added to the game as it requires zero skill. Gaijin struggled with this in Crossout almost making it unplayable, they nerfed FNF so hard they arent used anymore.
as of rn FAF dosent work correctly and tis an absolute horrible missile and the rare occasions i’ve gotten kills with it its always against light tanks or against half dead tanks, it really shouldnt have been added unfinished if they were gonna make it so bad
Other than just these changes, the Spike launcher can change its launch angle to whatever type of strike you desire, and you should be able to control it a little bit, but not massively. I have no personal experience with these, but from what I’ve seen and heard, they suck, their system should be similar to the AGM-65’s and RB-75 missiles, though they are TV guided, and honestly, those aren’t even super accurate. I’ve seen footage of one launched from the bore sight, and it feels a lot like TV or IRCM guidance, rather than the “radar” like system now.
Its because they nerfed it. The missiles were basically hitting dead center and killing breaches only and no crew so the flight variance allows you to hit more than just a breach. Like Crossout, should never have been added anyway. Chromehounds way back in PvP had the same issue in which players were effectively banned from servers if they outfitted with FnF missiles. Point is, FnF is great for PvE and asinine for PvP
they never nerfed them they just kept constantly changing its flight pattern and at one point they were completely messed up and now they have to work on it from 0, crossout is not like war thunder in war thunder you can take cover behind cover and it will lose lock on you, this game is not like crossout and lets not forget that smoke can also disrupt the guidance of FAF, you are comparing 2 completely different games made by different developers from different departments of the company.

you are the one that is not comprehending the fact that war thunder is not crossout and keep saying it will be unbalanced and yes its a fire and forget missile wich will not change its inner work, right now the missile its in an incredibly poor state, im trying to explain here and ill repeat it once again but the missile can be messed with obstacles and smoke at the moment of launch, its not the same game as crossout its obviously different and thanks to that it will be more reallistic and wont go at mach 1 at your tank with no capacities for reacting to the inminent menace that its a missile.

sounds to me like you dont know what youre talking about, FnF exist since a while now and hasnt destroyed the game.
and especially because they only hit dead center and only destroy the breach theyre useless and firing more makes no sense since they will just hit the breach again and again, youre just wasting ammo.
and that nerf was more like a lazy attempt to make them better, but that resulted in a double edged sword where sometimes the rng lets you hit the ammo or crew and you get a kill or you hit jack shit.
youre the one that brought crossout up tho, hes jsut trying to explain to you that your point is worthless because crossout has no connection to war thunder whatsoever, you cant conclude that because it was so in crossout that it will definitely be the same in war thunder, thats not how things work.
FnF is not a large part of the game, limited to not even a handful of vehicles in top tier. People raged about the Tiger some Rage about Spike but at the end of the day its not something that requires skill or considerable player input.THIS is why we shouldnt really have them…and THIS is why when they become a large part of the game that devs end up removing them or nerfing them to the ground.
And you are wrong, I CAN conclude as I have played FnF in multiple games to include warthunder and the outcome is the SAME, it never works.
Fire and forgets are good only in Open maps and i’m helis cuz of being in the sky and Even so they are very situational and not only that but PARS are much better and saying that You played numerous times it’s kinda ehhh not true
no you cant, it doesnt matter that you played multiple other games with FnF weapons, if you havent played war thunder you dont know what youre talking about and quite frankly your opinion is not worth anything.

I really dont think you understand what game youre talking about. This is, again, war thunder not crossout. War thunder is based on reality and in reality we have FnF weapons, you cant just delete an entire type of weapon because you think theyre unfair.
Saying its not a large part is true but only if you look at the whole game, we do have quite a lot of FnF weapons at higher BRs, FnF obv doesnt exist at lower BRs but where they do appear theyre pretty prevalent.
If we want to follow your logic we also should delete AAM, which will not happen.
We have left that state of war thunder a long time ago where we only had T-34s and Tigers or BF-109s and Spitfires, where we only fought with guns or cannons, with no computer help whatsoever. We have moved on and FnF are a part of modern military, and just because something is automated or with computer assistants doesnt mean it needs no skill since you can still defeat these weapons with flares, smoke, cover,… . Gameplay changed and you need to adapt to it or you just dont play this BR range. I have a few friends who dont go above 6.0 because they dont like cold war or modern weapons, but thats fine and you can do whatever you like.
You also need the ability to launch ATGMs (F&F ones anyway) from the Commander’s sight, or at least to guide them. That is an important feature present on the QN506 (to my knowledge) that is missing in the game, and it’s the reason the Commander’s sight on the thing is so high up.
you can do that, i’ve been doing that with the vilkas recently you just need to activate commander control

Never said they were unfair, please learn to read, Gaijin deletes or fails to implement ALL kinds of weapons that are real…I dont think you really understand how this game works. The gave us a Longbow without Longbow hellfires…one example you can chew on and get lost in.
There are a lot of FnF weapons in high tier? Oh really, name five ground vehicles with FnF rank 7 or 8 and when they were introduced to the game…
The skill mentioned is reference to the player firing the weapon, not defending it, geez what an exceptionally moot point.
