Spawning into torpedo

This is especially bad in open water maps, that I don’t even want to engage.

You said in other threads that maps dont need to get bigger, still think that? (im assuming torpedos have their max range)

Id have just immediately gone hard to port and thread that first gap, instead you appeared to go starboard and then back again.

Though you could also just play NRB. Torp spam like this is just a symptom of unlimited torpedos on NAB

Partially I’m upset about these situations because its the DayZ syndrome. You sail for minutes for a good range to engage (ships like Courbet and the Italian Vinci ship can’t depres their guns beyond 12km).

Maps need more cover, not bigger.

I think I would simply “slide” to the right if I tried to turn left. Either way, the chance to survive is minimal if any.

Naval maps DONT need more cover! These battles played out in open waters and not in the Canadian islands. What you need to do is to know that you turn INTO torpedos and not stand still in hopes they jump over your ship. Playing different mode could be a solution aswell

I cant remember the last time I was killed by a Torp

Cover is necessary for ships like cruisers. I remember that I grinded through the fuso with my Mikuma. Every time I would just rush to a spot and begin pop shooting.

It adds to gameplay diversity and give fighting chance to lighter ships.

Do you main naval RB? my situation is WW1 battleships (very slow) with naval ab torp speed boost

Yes, I only play NRB. Which again leads me back to my point.

If this is a really common problem in NAB. Just Play NRB
