Yes, I have dozens of hours [if not hundreds] in auto-lights and thanks for showing my high performance in an unspaded vehicle that’s above even that of 2S38 and VCC-80/60.
I didn’t start speaking on auto-lights until I learned them. Never once claimed the Begleit was anything while I was struggling with that, only ever spoke the moment I understood them.
Watch the video instead of cherry-picked screenshots.
I would never panic shot like that myself, and I wouldn’t hit the tracks or aim high for that matter.

@ileaveuptiers
So because I only have 400+ hours at T8 that’s not enough experience… Dude wants me to make War Thunder my full time job for him to take me seriously.
Prove that I’ve never died to a Kh-38MT, I’ll wait.
Cause I can tell you each time I did, it was twice, but I can tell you the exact situations.
With an almost third when I was in Black Night, but you can assess why the Kh-38MT failed against Black Night.
It’s sad how you dismiss everyones’ experience while I acknowledge ALL players’ experience…
This will be my last reply to your derailing off-topic posts.
Spall liner magically repairs itself? I think 3rd shot in, the spall liner is destroyed but two other shots afterward get caught in the already broken spall liner?
I’m not an XM885 expert and I don’t know much about the rounds, however I do believe that Gaijin should inplement the Anti-ERA tip found on some APFSDS rounds. But, I don’t think the ERA itself overperforms but rather just random wacko value points. Earlier today I nonpenned the turret side of a T32 with an M47, for example. It isn’t because my APHE underperforms or the T32 overperforms, but rather because the game’s armor and hit/damage calculation system is very cooked
Spall liners are also so needlessly annoying and on certain tanks are arguably overperforming. I had a match and had around 7 rounds of M900 eaten by a Chally 2 OES’ spall liners despite them being “destroyed” in the X-rays
As much as I’d love to agree with you, I can’t. I think the anti-era apfsds would be game breaking vs russia as they are pretty un-armored otherwise. I do think ERA and Spall liners could use an overhaul though. They are overperforming. I’ve had a t80bvm eat a SEP V2 shell on a few different occasions
That’s fair, they both do need severe overhauls and I honestly think spall liners weren’t the greatest addition (especially seeing as some nations didn’t get any)
It’d also help if the game didn’t go insane trying to calculate armor penetration and whatnot each time you fire or someone else does
First shot hit the Spall liner and it went straight through without doing anything , so was second shot
Third shot actually pen and kill one crew
Fourth shot got gaijined with the track
Last two shot got eaten by track
Yeah just bad aiming , last two shot could have gone for the lower plate since he showing it but you just spammed the gun hoping something would happen.
Overall , gaijin moment , he even angling with those few last shot. Literally ERA barely got anything to do with this
The second to last shot the front track armor ate. The last shot, the broken spall liner ate that one again, you can see the outline of the spall liner illuminate with that shot.
I usually nail T series with angled track shots. The lower front plate shot only works head on unless it’s a heavier dart
Your first two shots hit at a very steep angle, so the ricochet is correct, your third shot hit the RELIKT which is MADE TO DECREASE THE POWER OF THE APFSDS AMMUNITION PENETRATOR, and you are using a Subcaliber, so your last ones continued to hit at a strong angle, but I don’t waste my time talking to average US players, especially HSTVL and RDF users.
Those first two were penetrations, not ricochets. The spall liner was destroyed after the second shot. The third shot the spall liner appears again and the round is caught. The third shot was between the RELIKT. This happens again with the last shot
