SPAA vs. Heli landing

Why is SPAA not able to hit helis landing?

I really dont get it, especially with the IRIS-T, after the missile locked on with the ir seeker, why are they missing when the heli is landing?

Its a tactic that makes helis impossible to hit. You can fire as many rockets as you want, but they fire all of there rockets, while flying over the helipad, then they land and all the AA missiles miss. Then they reload and shoot again untill you are gone. Its a major advantage that makes them nearly invincible.

Multipathing, cause the ir msl is slaved to the radar

Not when the IR Seeker is activated, that should be the case when the target is below 10 km away.

Which heli? Most are immune to IRIS-T SLS & SLM at top tier

IRIS-T doesnt give a rats a** after it is on IR lock about radar slave.

Only way helo can dodge IRIS , is either it got LDIRCM, or Helo player got lucky and had terrain masking

Mostly AH-64 variants, all top tier

AH-64Es have LDIRCM so are immune to IRIS-T completely. Regardless of whether or not they are landing

(which is very dumb, not only are IRIS-Ts immune to LDIRCM, but each LDIRCM emmiter should only be able to handle one missile at a time, at the moment, it renders all IR missiles, no matter how many, useless. Very stupid. Its why the Pantsir SM-SV or Pantsir S1 are the only viable top tier anti-heli SAM)
