Guys, I just realized something. After that patch, ussr would not only have the best top tier SPAA, but the best top tier SPAA line-up in the game, and by far it is. Strela + Tunguska + Pantsir + Osa. That’s extremely funny, isn’t it? The nation who deserves GtA capabilities the least - recieves the most of them. We all know that if you kill pantsir there’s 100% chance that angry boy will spawn another one pretty much right away, but now they have 8 spawns instead of 4 to 6 before(depending if one would want to play tunguska). Wo-hoo, I guess? There’s no solution for that in their current way of doing things, so I just wanted to point that out, because apparently no one has noticed yet.
There’s no such thing as too many SPAAs, but dear god russia should be at the bottom of the priority list for getting a new SPAA as other nations still have SPAA gaps that span multiple tiers, yet they still recieve a shiny new SPAA almost every update.
Four nations got the osa, but it’s a Russian aa, there’s no reason that Russian shouldn’t have gotten it. Might as well give them the tor too.
I mean, other nations got the Osa too so its whatever, net gain. But the afghan Shilka was completely unnecessary and way too strong at 7.3.
They could’ve added domestic SPAA and not Russian copy-paste. I mean what does it take to add a non-Russian SPAA these days? Several years of waiting?
Tunguska, OSA, and Strela are entirely pointless at 12.0 utterly incapable of even having a hope of fragging CAS; cause Pantsir itself is incapable of fragging semi-decent CAS players.
CAS remains unkillable, and any post complaining about SPAA when it’s useless against proper CAS tactics… not a good take.
@SpeclistMain1
They are adding domestic SPAA.
Your post calling months years says a lot about your age.
USSR cas remains unkillabe*
I’ll list some examples:
USA -
- Number of years it took to get a <7.7 BR SPAA for the US: ~9.5 (and one of them isn’t even domestic)
China -
- Number of years it took to fix the SPAA gap between the PGZ04A and TOR-M1: ~2
- Number of years it took to add a domestic SPAA: 3 years and counting (they still haven’t added one)
Italy -
- Number of years it took to add a new “top tier” SPAA for Italy: ~6
- Number of years it took to add a new top tier SPAA for Italy that is domestic: 6 years and counting (they still haven’t added one)
USA, Britain, Germany, France, etc aren’t USSR no matter how much you may think a Tornado and Mirage 2000DR1 being immune to Pantsir makes them Soviet.
Top SPAA is useless in War Thunder and all tech trees need SPAA better than Pantsir.
@SpeclistMain1
USA and Italy made less SPAA IRL than Germany, China, and USSR, welcome to reality.
And? Are there literally zero SPAA to add for the US or Italy?
Zero production vehicles yes, which means they have to find the prototypes like T-77.
Trying to justify that every nations CAS is on par with USSRs just makes it all more obvious that you are a troll.
There’s a difference between functional prototypes and paper designs, not that either the US or Italy have literally zero production SPAA to add.
@Matthgame231
So everyone that wants SPAA better than Pantsir in the game for all ten tech tree are “trolls” to you…
Keep defending Russia and CAS as that seems to be all your posts are good at.
Was there ever any doubt
Never said anything about not adding SPAAs to other nations.
Not defending Russia, it’s a fact that the Pantsir is the best SPAA there is ingame, CAS is just food for it , any Pantsir player that knows how to use TWS is gonna intercept all of AGMs you send at him.
Yet you call people names for wanting better SPAA in War Thunder.
Pantsir being the best at not fragging my Tornado ASSTA doesn’t change the fact better SPAA is necessary.
Intercepting AGMs, which isn’t possible most of the time from CAS being played correctly, doesn’t destroy the CAS.
The game needs SPAA superior to Pantsir no matter how much you believe it’s OP, cause as someone that’s never died to it while running CAS, it’s not OP.
Isn’t possible only when there’s multiple jets in the air, if it’s just one then you can’t do anything to it.
Huh. Doesn’t sound accurate.
Yes, because they made better missile systems than the East and had better combined arms capability / integration so they were less dependent upon SPAAs.
But this is a game that revolves around balance, hence why newer /closer to top of the line Russian/Soviet tanks fight older western models. So arguing there aren’t any while not even factually accurate isn’t a good argument.
Explain in detail how to play CAS “correctly”
