Britain too

Yep, need more SPAA throughout the game, more variants and more options.

Whats worse is that there are SPAA you can add to fill those gaps.

Up until absolutely top tier. There is probably enough SPAA options for some If not all nations to have 2 SPAA at every full BR bracket.

A lot of nations would kill for a skink equivalent, what are you talking about?

So we have the Skink at 5.3. Which i’ve always found a bit meh. What do we have between 5.3 and 8.0?

You then have no IR SAM system at BR 9 like a lot of nations do, Our 10.3 SPAA is designed for dealing with helis not planes and its buggy as hell at the moment and then finally out 11.7 is classed as an ATGM launcher.

hes not super smart… Leave him be

basically the worst is USA, imo, tank destroyer SPAA at 4.0 and 4.3 and then… nothing until 7.7

You obviously haven’t played France then … Shitty SPAA at 4.3 and then another shitty one at 8.3

It should be a rule that a lineup can field at least 2 serviceable SPAA at a time, there’s plenty of vehicle’s available for Gaijin to pick for most nation’s, especially given the addition of sub trees also.

France is getting a new AA at least this patch. The AMX-10P won’t be the deadliest AA but since it has spotting you can recover SP and discount your CAS options and make a comeback with it, which I think will be really nice.

Oh didn’t know. Hope it won’t be as broken and useless as the SANTAL

It is essentially an amphibious Marder 1a without the Milan at a lower BR.

On US side the 12.7 calibers mounted on most of the tanks are a good threat to planes.

DCA is as good as any direct fire RADAR SPAA

It also has APDS in its belt a la Falcon so unlike the other SPAAs at its BR range it can tango with regular tanks

France’s high tier SPAA is top of the line as well which is more than a lot of nations get

What we’re missing is the GAP and there are lots of options to fill it, we’re getting an IFV/SPAA but it’s not going to fill the hole completely

Lower rate of fire, reload takes an eternity etc … not so sure that it’s as good as the ZSU-23 for example

Direct fire SPAAs aren’t good in general Helicopters outrange them and they’re not preventative they’re only truly effective when a plane is in a dive on a target so it won’t evade.

Yep agreed. Every bracket should have 1 solid dedicated SPAA and a Hybrid. Something that can almost double as a weak IFV/support vehicle

So at top tier for Britain that could look like the ADATS as the multirole and then the Tracked Rapier and then along side the Stormer HVM you could have something like the Warrior VERDI. There are options, but SPAA are just not as popular and so are heavily neglected. Which is a real shame

Haven’t seen a “long cat” image in at least a decade. Well done.
