Yes, why shouldn’t they be crew locked for 20 minutes? They denied someone a kill by abandoning their vehicle, I’m sure this is against the game rules somewhere.
Playing CAS isn’t literally against the rules AND also a huge dick move regardless of how or when you do it.
Because game health and longevity is based on players, and if you start doing stupid stuff like crewlock for 20mins you will get review bombing and people will start leaving such anti-player game.
I’ve only seen this happen a couple of times. Knowing that person is raging hard enough to do that will mean more than whatever sl/rp I would have gotten.
Last time I saw this I was throwing an s5k volley from 3km at a gepard in a su7 that probably wouldnt have even crit him before pulling out, made me smile.
Heve you considered, that you are not the most important guy in game? Other people don’t play this game to please you, they play to grind their vehicles and modules.
Stop blaming players for gaijin’s antisocial game design.
Don’t hate the player, hate the game.
If your projectile/ordnance is close to the SPAA player when they J out, you should get the full kill credited regardless. And they still get crewlock.
Because dodging missiles, hugging the ground in order to get a kill is fun and a part of the game. Don’t like it? Go play world of tanks. Using an A-10C, the slowest high tier plane requires skill. It’s not like I’m at mach jesus using KH38MTs.
IRIS is the hardest SPAA to fight and he wasted all his ammo on me, so yeah he should get a 20 min crew lock for being an absolute Ahole for jing out
Dying to other players is part of the game. Happens a lot to everyone.
Which is why I want 20min crew locks.
Again, this is a common issue in AIR SIMULATOR too where there’s no CAS and most maps play identically. Someone gets suddenly radar locked from a direction they didn’t expect or spot an enemy right behind them, way too often some players choose to J out even though it would cost them 0 SL or RP to die to that enemy.
All you have to do is NOT be petty and DON’T try to deny kills by abandoning vehicles right before you get killed.
I’ve seen IRIS-Ts and SLAMRAAM Humvees J out when there’s GROUND vehicles approaching their location.
I feel like at least not let them use backup spawns for the duration of the match if they’re gonna J out like that - if you forefeited your vehicle willy nilly to abuse a mechanic then you certainly shouldn’t be able to spawn it in again
Also destroying a launcher vehicle doesn’t count towards a kill if the player decide to J out later
I’m not talking about people who get pushed into spawn, I’m mostly talking about people who get caught with their pants down against a flank.
Like the other day, I came upon a Humvee launcher who was camping on the bottom corner of a large map, and the first thing they do is J out as soon as they see me coming.
Like damn, at least try to survive and run or delay and mark the map? Or make less poor decisions about positioning and have map awareness? If this is the case, then J-ing out should credit the kill to a nearby opponent, like how aircraft handles it. This is the same energy as base bombers that decide to lawndart as soon as they see a missile diamond coming at them in ARB.
