I wasn’t aware about Japan, which ship was it?
Amagi
Thanks for the heads up
You mean naval grind can get even worse?
Oof…
Depends on which botes you use during the grind, per country, per Bluewater or Coastal. I would suggest asking for advice about the best (or less bad lol) botes to use if/when you start a new Naval tree, or get up around 5.0-6.0 BR, especially for Bluewater. Could save you some headaches.
The other obvious advice is to get one or more premium botes when they go on sale (again DEFINITELY ask for advice before deciding on which prem botes). Obviously makes the grind faster, but you also get the MASSIVE SL %'s on prem botes.
Before the recent Naval Arcade aiming changes went through, I would use all of my SL booster exclusively with my prem botes, because prem vehicles double the effect of SL boosters 😉🤑
Another Stalins wet dream…
I suggest we demand that Gaijin hold off on introducing this until comparable counterparts are added for other nations. Richelieu, Bismarck, Roma, etc. aren’t even close in terms of capability.
This is like playing a T-34 against a Tiger II.
Currently the ship has cemented armour.
I fear it’ll be the event vehicle instead of TT >.<
1 japanese ship vs how ever many russian ships
I think theres a trend we are missing here
Me watching an f-16 take 3 months to produce and 60 million dollars 👍🏼
Me watching Lockheed take 8 years to reverse engineer a specific aircraft whose blueprints were destroyed
Yea… Try hundreds of millions for aircraft RnD. I work in this field extensively, you can’t even get a single fuel panel for a thousand dollars anymore.
Is this also open to being reported?
Thanks for the response as always.
Providing there is reasonable material, I can see no reason why not for sure.
Naval players getting lots of care this update, following the sheer violation of the Arcade changes.
As someone who just got into naval, Hell yeah
i was more referencing the 1930’s/40s where the price comarison with Battleships is relavant, if Battleship were made today it would still be MANY times more expensive.
The whole point is that you can’t create a full scale prototype of a battleship/cruiser, due to it not being cost effective and due to how EXTREMELY expensive it would be.
A prototype for a tank as compared to a ship is like a packet of Haribo compared to a car, its not even remotely comparable in price. we never saw any prototype supercarriers did we? but we saw prototype F-16s and the such
just like you’d be much more inclined to test out a new flavour of Sweet but not buy a whole car to test out if you like it or not. that’s the whole point of what I said
still can be convincingly written as weeks (12 weeks), just like pregnancies are
we’re also forgetting compared to the comparible tech of the 1940s where BBs are relavant, (say a Hurricane of Bf-109) They are radically much less complex than an F-16, where the time to construct is much lower as a result
I hope naval improves especially blue water top tier (its essencially who spawns faster as u spawn in open waters and in gun range)
I wonder what the penetration will look like on these guns. From the stats on NavWeps they should have really good pen up close but really fall off at range.
That being said gaijin already gave Kron insane performance for a 12in gun so we’ll see I guess.
So in reality, the Soviets didn’t have access to high-quality cemented armor thicker than 200 mm, which is why they planned for greater thickness overall — to compensate and make their weaker hardened armor equivalent in performance.
Technically, the shells are real, they just sucked ass irl. The Soviets planned for an overperforming gun, but in reality, it performed poorly. Very rapid wear and poor accuracy.
The Kronstadt’s guns never actually existed — it was all just wishful thinking.
Kind of like with Tonks, I’d love to see dynamic missions for Naval, probably in a sim-like mode
Like “Cover the Allied landing on XYZ” and the opposite being “Engage enemy ships near XYZ”, maybe convoy defense or something like “Find and destroy the enemy ships patrolling (GRID)”, likely all in a very large map relevant to areas that the ships would’ve seen combat, like American and Japanese ships would commonly see the Pacific (with US occasionally seeing Europe) and whatnot
I’d also love a truly combined arms mode, which would probably go well with the upcoming AI infantry (assuming it actually comes), allowing ships to provide fire support for infantry and armored vehicles on like Midway or, thru a very lengthy “alt history” extension, Normandy
Yeah that’s why I’m curious as to how gaijin will model them and hopefully the horrible accuracy is modeled in some way.
If they model them having better ranged performance than the Mk8 super heavy I might crash out lol
