This is factually wrong. The torpedo defense system on Yamato was tested with 400kg explosive charges. The TDS could block one or two 250kg torps but by that point, not only would the hull be impaled by the beams that made up the TDS and cause severe flooding, the rivets would become high speed shrapnel under the explosive stress caused by the torpedoes.

i would say USS IOWA just as OP and basically unbeatble its gun is the only thing that makes it weaker its roughly same survivbility wise
one of them actually existed and the iowa was only added the justify the most op Russian fantasy ship they could imagine, meanwhile still no tirpitz or h39 (which will probably be the most gimped early version possible lol). So I don’t hate it as much.
Soyuz was laid down and most of its components (guns, AA, secondaries, probably fire control) existed.

A150 had no work done on it aside from 51cms being built.
H39 only had a partial keel. These two ships alone are more paper than Soyuz ever was.
should nerf both not just one its that or put them at there own br yamato, mushashi roma bismarck all can do basically nothing against them and now they have 8.3 version which is super strong too
iowa versus any 8.7 is almost immpossible to beat especially at range they should force it to run more ammo as literally its the only boat at the br that can effectively do this as there armor is to minimal
Yamato and Musashi can nuke a Soyuz through the bow at most ranges the Soyuz can fight them at.
The problem is their armor is bugged and borderline worthless alongside their maneuverability being artificially nerfed in Warthunder. They had a 640m turning radius in real life (which they don’t in warthunder) and there’s zero excuse for Soyuz to have anything below 940.
