Sovetsky Soyuz is blatantly Overpowered

Which prove what exactly? The ship was never built and therefore the stats are entirely paper and as a results, its stupidly OP

Ah yes, the soviet main finds it funny that the soviets have a ship so game breakingly OP that most players have stopped playing top tier naval

Especially funny given the soviets have always been notoriously bad at anything to do with their navy.

Look at in game.

1 of their Rank VI is a paper ship, never built. Another is British (that had to be scrapped when returned ot the British due to poor maintenance) and the third is Italian.

Their only Rank VII ship and the only option they had for any Rank VII ship is a paper ship that the soviets would have never been able to build

Instead of 6 players, now 4?

There was still a lot of time before 1945.

I’m aware. No point in these threads and just a waste of time.

I do not agree with that sentiment. And hundreds/thousands of other players agree that it is not a waste of time. 600+ replies here, and over 1,000 replies on the other “main” Naval thread about the current issues with Naval Battles:

Not to mention the hundreds of votes on my poll thread from earlier this year, after the changes to Naval Arcade aiming:

The current issue(s) with the Sovetsky Soyus is only the latest debacle with Naval Battles in War Thunder. The numerous and ongoing posts and/or complaints about these issues prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that us Naval players care, and think it is worth the time and effort to post about these ongoing issues.

you talk like in mean something it still the same
“Ship never been complete test or sail”

The issue is not whether it was completed or not, but rather the USSR’s capabilities in building such ships, where they constantly say that the USSR was unable to complete it, since it stopped construction on June 22, 1941.

yes because they literally couldnt build it. its not speculation its fact the foundaries were trying to build the armour plates but couldnt.

Im sorry but unless you can actually give any proof at all this thing existed in the capacity it does in game it will be regarded as a fake ship in my and msny others eyes

You don’t notice the beam in your own eye by pointing out a minor problem

I dont necessarily have issue with a paper ship being added for the sake of giving them something instead of nothing, but giving it stats that instantly make it hte best ship in every single respect to such a degree that only one other ship in the game stands any meaningful chance of even scratching the paint is just insane.

At this moment in time. Soyuz should be 9.7

Soyuz has made a friend of mine quit the mode entirely

I know a few who ahve done that. I basically didnt play naval for 3 months because of it, did 2 matches both games vs soyuz, wont be touching any of the top tier ships. Im glad I didnt waste my money on Nelson, its DOA

I might give a 7.0 lineup a go, and then go from there, Its just a shame they artifically nerf Renown so much

Yet Soyuz still uncomplete ship wherever able to build or not it never tests never sail never complete say things like that it like saying that German able to build H-class in 1945
it powered by unproved spec that noone know that ship itself even capable of.

Im using USS arkansas currently but its usefulness is reaching its limit

which makes it even funnier that even if you manage to explode the magazines that hold this fantasy amount of explosives which should be higher than any other battleship it basically does nothing but a small inconvenience of a little flooding. While yamato explodes by explosion of 1200 rounds of midships aa ammunition and also apparently if it doesnt bring any ammo at all. Its really weird how people manage to pull that out to claim “russian bias”. really very weird
