USN should be hands down the best but because of Soviet fantasy ship (they couldn’t even make the armor plates for it) it isn’t
They also don’t model superior US radar FCS which afaik Soyuz didn’t have. Really convenient huh?

It boggles the mind how Gaijin names a patch after Naval. Gives us the most famous battleships in History. And still make a complete disgrace of the whole thing.

Yamato is a shell of what it should be.
I was so excited for this patch as a naval aficionado. Now, naval isn’t worth the time. I’ve played it for years, but if this is what we can expect from Gaijin, it’s time to give up on naval.

Not only that, the Soyuz was actually impossible for the Soviets to build as proven by many other posts talking about it. No experience, engineers were purged, industrial and technological limitations. I’m pretty sure the Kirov cruisers were the largest ships being built in the Soviet Union in that period.
I’d be fine with a realistic project for the sake of content or balance. But getting this completely fictional and impossible ship to be in the game, not only that, have it be THE best ship in the game, they’re pointing as us and laughing.
Might as well add the P1000 Ratte for Germany ¯_(ツ)_/¯

You know, this amusingly reminds me of World of Warships Naval Legends series. A video series specifically about ships with outstanding careers.
For some damn reason, Soyuz, a ship that was never built or could be built by the soviets, was featured. Keep in mind that not even a ship like Warspite was featured.
Now here we are in Warthunder, having to endure this Soviet dreamboat dominate its way through naval. Its almost remarkable how this ship gets forced upon naval players.

It is not a prototype - ships generally do not get prototyped, and that is why they have different criteria for inclusion viz tanks and planes.
also WT is a strictly “paper performance” gamer - “real world” considerations have no impact on the game and there are many examples showing this - the best is perhaps the breda 88 - a fine little attacker in WT - IRL struggled to take off.

Yeah, it was laid down which means it can be included and that’s fine. What’s not fine is taking the propaganda stats and implementing it in game.
I don’t know what the hell is going on with gaijin lately, but they’re not on a good path and the cracks are showing.
