Nope, is bad and quite disgusting. Which normal person will speak with that tone? Even AI can do better than that🤮🤮

Do you think the issue being they used non native speakers or did they not find enough information on certain callouts? So Gaijin did what they could do.

yeah its definitely AI

some words could use more refinements, but i think the most horrendous ones are the vehicle callouts

it sounds like this

video

like the flow is messed up, its not “T-SEVENTYTWO” or “LE-PARD” its “T-TUJUH-DUA (T-7-2)” & “LEO-PARD”

plus it doesnt even sound Indonesian, its just american

crossfire ahh ID voiceline
seriously even 2010s cashgrab F2P FPS game did better than this despite fully using Formal form of Indonesian and this is must be the worst voice line of all nation languages by Gaijin

to give a better example of Indonesian tanker operation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-WKCqJvZW8

To me they sounded like Indonesian TV commercial, they’re using formal language and accentless. Foreigners (usually) has an accent, and this doesn’t seems to be the case.

The only accent is when they do the callouts, as NFrost51 has mentioned they have English accent/pronounciation when calling out certain tanks instead of Indonesian pronounciation. To my knowledge, Gaijin outsourced the work to an Indonesian company, so they probably didn’t do much research.

Not sure it would be particularly useful either, basically a fat Wiesel 1A4

Closest thing to an XM800T Malaysia can offer, it does have a more powerful engine alongside the 20mm cannon (on an already very mobile chassis)

I’ve never heard of the AH-6I until now, very interesting :)

Eh, No stab is the big limitation and at best 66mm of pen.

Can’t see anything about an upgrade to the engine, + for anything more than 200 HP the final drives need improvement too (the XM800T has 285 HP), which I doubt the Malaysian government has access too after the Stormer got retired. (With the British EM235 this was solved by taking the TN15D gear box from the Stormer and retrofitting the final drives on to the TN15E gearbox to create the TN15E+)

Ah right, forgot it wasn’t stabilized…

Power output was 161kW (~219hp) according to the manufacturer, so chances are that the final drives were altered as well then.

This was also a proposed upgrade made by KSSB (in cooperation with Chaiseri) in 2016, while the Stormers were retired in 2021. It wouldn’t be too unlikely that parts common to the Stormer were used at this point

Or the Stormer? Not sure which one got better mobility.

Should be the Scorpion, which is about 4t lighter while only having ~30hp less.
