Southeast Asian (ASEAN) Machinery Of War Discussion Thread

With all three Chinese tanks now so bad, I would be happy to see the Leopord2 SG enter the Chinese TT

Wouldn’t change much surely, it would be more like a 11.7 vehicle post update, comparable to that of Leopard 2 PL. Any how China’s top tier is trash at the moment with GAIJING cutting out part of J10 AG weaponary and I would most likely just play 11.0 (ZTZ99 MBT2k) BR after this.

Sad news for you buddy.

Personaly i am looking forward to grinding the VT-4 in the japanese tree

Why Japan, that is not logical cause they have nothing to do with Japan and are probably more logically either a brand new tree, or just separated into many nations, where they are manufactured.

Speaking of ASEAN Vehicles, I’ve added more to the list:

Additional ones pending approval or work in progress.

Regarding the F16, what is the earliest AMRAAM it carried? Cause these things should come ASAP.
Also is there any chance of Bangladesh being part of this? From experience a Crotale would do nicely as SPAA.

This specfic F-16 got AIM-120Cs first iirc. But it probably wouldn’t come soon anyway, as it is equipped with AN/APG-83 AESA radar.
More likely is the Thai (e)MLU which could be added any time with just AIM-120B and AN/APG-68(V)9.

I’m waiting working another ASEAN aircraft

  • JAS39 Gripen C (Thailand)
  • F-15SG (Singapore)
  • A-4S Skyhawk (Singapore)
  • Northrop F-5S (Singapore)
  • Strikemaster Mk 84 (Singapore)
  • F-16C Block 52 (Singapore)

as in vehicles from Bangladesh being grouped up in ASEAN? probably not considering Bangladesh isnt an ASEAN member, probably would be best to group them up with SAARC with other South Asian countries (although without India)

AN/APG68v9 would still be quite strong, I would say it coming with J11B and early typhoon, since they are quite similar in terms of radar, but JAS39C is also an option.

Hello, I would just like to share my recently approved for posting suggestion for the SIAI-Marchetti AS.211 “Warrior” that saw service in both Singapore & Philippines, please do check it out!
