Sounds of enemy vehicles are horrid

You should be able to hear enemy ground vehicles better than you do . i get killed every match because someone comes up on my rear making no sound at all. Also planes are way to loud , give a slider to turn them down.

Want to know something absolutely ridiculous?

“Keen Vision” determines how far you can HEAR the enemy.

Yes. You read that right. No. I am not confused.

Pump your Keen Vision up.

Nah, you should literally only be able to use sound to detect enemy vehicles if your own engine is turned off entirely. If you are even idling you should basically have earmuffs on. It’s ridiculous that the game for years basically had it where you can hear tanks 150 meters away and accurately pinpoint their position. It dumbs down the game.

Cutoff is still 200 meters. And that’s single vehicles afaik, multiples need to be way closer.
For how much they change sounds every patch you’d think they’d be more capable of developing something not garbage but here we are.

This is a game bud, not a realism simulator.
We already suffer enough through “detailed tank modules” that only mean you repair some crap component for 15 years and don’t get to do anything in between.

I’m aware. I also listed why it isn’t good from a gameplay perspective. It kills flanking opportunities and gives players too much info regarding enemy movement. It dumbs down options.

Well yeah but also cannot give people that DO get outplayed a reason to complain, because it does throw them a bone in that sense.
And to be honest, I prefer it that way instead of some gross muffled crap.

And yet people still almost never realise you are flanking them.
