Would it somehow be possible to implement in game mod support for console players to enjoy custom sound?

It would have to go through the PSN Storefront since moddable/downloadable files isn’t supported through official firmware. Even if it was possible on Gaijins side, you’d have to get Sony on board and that’s a huge ask, on top of that Gaijin would have to keep the “mod” updated to work on War Thunders current build over new updates.

Incorrect: Gaijin would need to code a label and an automatic labeling system and approve those deemed acceptable. Which unfortunately would be very, very few. Mainly because Voice Mods are using other IP’s.

So a lot of money not only, but also could make 0 dollar on it. It may allow Gaijin, though unsure why they never did this, to use some of the characters they already have and ask the JSDF to use the AH-1S Sisters as Voice packs.

But even that would take time, and community Sound and Voice mods would simply have to be labeled after a certain duration: Potentially Broken. If the modders do not update their own files. Simply put, it’s not worth the journey on the voice mods unless Gaijin does official ones. Using pre-established anime characters and permission, or collaborations with people for such.
