Sorry Gaijin, but that's not how missiles work

This reminded me of when R-60 used to explode under you at launch

Haha imagine thinking everything besides the r73 is modeled correctly

Every single missile in game does this btw

That also ain’t how that works

Would you be able to demonstrate this for certain missiles if I ask you to?

I’m not saying everything else is correctly modeled, but that the R-73 should not be spared from the realism standards that missiles are held up to, again not saying that they are consistently applied.

In a perfect world it would be, but again many missiles get nerfed with historical accuracy being the stated reasons and the airframes battle-ratings not being adjusted afterwards. The R-73 carriers should not be exempt.

You can make anything in game phase through the fuselage if you just fly in the direction the missile is going to be in when you launch it, the easiest way is just by neg-g’ing.

Have you never tried bombing in this game while neg-g’ing? The bombs will literally phase through your entire plane and appear on top of your wings and RIDE THEM UNTIL YOU ADJUST COURSE AND THROW THEM OFF

missiles arent held to any realism standards

R-73s aren’t overpowered right now, so they shouldnt be adjusted to be way worse for no good reason. You would just remove their only niche.

he-he, trust vectoring goes brrr

Missiles that have an start delay like aim 7 can also do it pretty easily
