But it’s funny that seemingly the only way you can argue for American jets is by using KD stats they achieved over outnumbered and outdated Arab air forces. Do you have to stoop down that low for them?

For your information the US was the first nation I finished grinding and I still have them fully grinded out. I admire their jets, but to argue that Russian ones are scrap compared to them because of those KD stats is exactly what old John Smith would do on Quora.

By every metric available to all of us yes it is an actual legitimate way of evaluating the performance of US aircraft because all you can do on the other hand is sit and talk about how many Gs this pulls and how much AoA this aircraft can make by reading stuff you don’t actually understand because in the end you are neither an aeronautical engineer nor a fighter pilot so your opinion is as good as John Smith’s on Quora.

Imagine for example if the roles were reversed and the German F-4Es without AIM-7s had to fight MiG-29s and Su-27s in Europe, then it would have had the worst KD possible, but I still wouldn’t be mad enough to use that as a valid argument.
