Though looking how “many” Italian helicopters we have got since 2019, I doubt we will see anything in that area at all, also their decision to integrate Hungarian Hinds into Italian line removes any hope for helicopters of Italian origin (like AB47J, AB204B, AB412, A109A, A129A and etc) in the near future.

Yeah lets just conveniently forget that the 114L is a fire and forget missile on top of also being able to ignore smoke and most foliage/soft cover in game because that never shows up on radar half the time anyways.
Don’t get me wrong, the vikhr even post nerf is still a good missile and I don’t have any particular problem with 114L being added but ffs stop comparing them. The only thing they have in common is that they can both bypass smoke and that’s it. While the 114L being fire and forget AND radar guided would make it better than any top tier missile on a helicopter in game currently and you get 16 of them vs 12 for the Vikhr

That is wrong, the armor issues dont transfer, the cannon issues are the lesser evil by far
oh please they better not leave China with just a J-8F and F-16 with just AIM-9L by the end of this year.

I’m a little curious, how would a nation respond to a “gap” in fighter aircraft?
I know that the next generation will be large, high-performance aircraft such as the F-15 and Su-27, but there are nations that do not have such large fighters, right? When such nations have to fight the top battlefield, will they fight with older generation fighters or will they lift the ban on allied fighters? Or I wonder if they will lift the ban on new generation missiles like the AIM-120 or even paper plans like the AJ.
This is a weird inversion of what we currently know is in the works, how did you come to this conclusion ? We have a direct statement that MR-ARH missiles ( inclusive of AMRAAM ) are in the works to come soon, and have even seen the preparations beginning to be made for them in the game files. But there 's nothing evidencial to say that F-15 or Su-27 are in our future - they’re just possible, since they exist.
Ah, my apologies. I knew that AIM-120 was found in Datamine, but I thought it was something like Viggen’s ECMPod, where only the data was prepared. Gaijin announced the implementation of AIM-120 as an official statement?
I guess the current policy is to handle the generation gap by implementing high-performance missiles.

It includes AMRAAM under it 's umbrella, since it 's addition would be part of the catch-all addition of similar weapons.
I am pretty sure that F-15 will come with Amraams since that will give multiple nation’s fox 3 capability on top of them adding fox 3 to nations that have F-16s, Gripen or tornado ADV, plus there is R-77 for the Soviets and Mica for France.
the only nation that kinda gets the shaft is Germany Since I don’t think they are going to add Typhoon just yet which would leave them with the F-4F ICE which outside of having Amraam leaves alot to be desired.
It may or may not; we have evidence to say the latter is coming, but not the former. F-15 is only possible.
Thanks for presenting the source. I see, so the AIM-120 will definitely be implemented in the future, although definitely not in the next update. I’m hoping that as long as the missiles are updated, it should be easier to fight even with older generation fighters!

if you paid attention to the video the guy fired the missile at 90 km and hit the f16 and another missile finished him, The Mig-29 fired the r-27ER, and the f-14 guy fired the last Phoenix cranked at a max angle and made a missile into Pittbul.
But if the r-77 comes to the mig-29, will be the same if you do long-range shots even if the missile has better performance overall, the Phoenix has the largest dynamic impulse by the distance that it goes away and has a lot of energy.
I searched and the best range with the best energy to fire the Phoenix at max altitude is 24 km until the burning end, head-on. It’s just a guy with a semi-active missile pointing a whole time at you and your missile until you go away and the guy tries to evade but the missile is too fast to it. I got a lot of kills with that, the majority is mig-29, The Phoenix is not too maneuverable but is fast enough

r77 has bad fins which makes it reach way less distance than it would otherwise, optimal speed for it is above M1.3 or below M0.8 because thats when the fins dont create a lot of drag
