I mean imperialism was going strong well into the 20th century and into the time period of war thunder, I’m not saying colonial ties are a good justification for a shared tech tree but they are better than nothing.

You’re operating off the premise that the UK and India have to be part of the same tech tree if that’s the logic you’re using.
In reality, the Commonwealth is simply not a valid reason to tie Indian tech to the British tech tree, but there’s no point in arguing it anymore since it’s just another one of Gaijin’s flimsy excuses for adding new tech somewhere where it was needed for either gameplay or profit reasons.
We shouldn’t, it’s not the place. But that’s what there is. T-90 Brishma is coming this patch to the British TT.
And I would love to play it, just as I would like to play in Germany with the Lynx.
The thing is, Germany can’t get Lynx because Lynx has nothing to do with Germany. The UK can obtain T-90 because… because the Indians were an English colony?

Again it’s not becoming a commonwealth tree. They are just using some commonwealth vehicles to give britian some variety (in their minds). It doesn’t mean that every future commonwealth vehicle will go to britain.

Don’t even try… That T-90 should be in the Soviet TT. At least, that was the logic when the M1AIM for the UK, or the C2A1 for the UK, was denied.
See you keep saying “why can’t it be” which is what I’ve been arguing against.
I think it should be in the Russian tree, but I don’t see why it couldn’t also have gone to the UK tree like it did.

Ofc it should. A british T-90 is an abdomination. Same for the German Hunter or the Italian Lynx.
For other vehicles Gajin did it right. The aussie M1 AIM went to the US TT. The Challenger 2E went to GB f.e.

It’s what Gaijin wants, British players should be happy they’re getting such exciting additions into their TT
Lots of thought and planning went into giving the T90S to Britain, now British player can have as much fun as everyone else
