Sons of Attila - Rumor Round-Up and Discussion (Part 2)

Hawaii? USA subtree for UK now

Seriously going off the flag is about as pointless an argument as you could make

We’re talking about modern day, top tier additions.

There’s so many Australian additions in UK at low tier because they operated so closely with the RAF. Beyond that, it’s all super early additions by Gaijin. Nothing over Rank V.
Which…has literally nothing to do with our conversation.

Canada has its spot as british top tier SPAA in the Tech Tree.
Australia hasn’t even been mentioned in top tier UK but has its main tank the m1a1 aim in US.

In the modern era, Australia grew far closer to USA than UK. They belong mostly in the US tree. Canada however, is already in the UK tree and has far closer ties to modern day Britain.

If only you take Bob Semple, someone has to.

I mean they seem pretty close with the US modern day. Then again that is the only one who can really potentially help them against the other superpower nearby.

That doesn’t make the Dutch army an extension of the German army by any means. It simply allows for mutual purchases of equipment, but the Dutch government still has authority over their own army.

and would still make more sense than agrentinia…

Except that the TAM is a heavily German-influenced design

That was at first yes, now it’s our whole ground forces. It was already known for a while, and I say that as a Dutch guy that Netherlands as a subtree for Germany would be much more logical, and for sure with the integration of our ground forces with the Bundeswehr being an even stronger argument for this

not really. not even close.
it was build to their specs.
we wanted to sell Leo 1’s. they wanted something lighter.
Read up into the history of the TAMs when you have time.
Me personally do not want them in the german techtree.
and thats all from me.

I think the air defense branch of our ground forces isn’t integrated though, but besides that pretty much all the mechanized or infantry units are.

I also don’t see our airforce and navy integrating in the near future.

And what do you do with all the vehicles that the Dutch used/developed before 1995 when there was no such thing as this integration? What about the Navy, Air force and Air defense? (a German air defense unit has also been integrated into the Dutch structure btw.)

yeah… airwing transfer would be a logistical nightmare. that would take some time… if it ever is going to happen. then again… everyone is moving towards the F-35 these days. might be easier in the future. but rn i agree

“not even close”
“The vehicle was developed by a German and Argentine team of engineers, and was based on the German Marder infantry fighting vehicle chassis.”
literally the first paragraph

Simple. Not every vehicle ever to have existed has to be added to this game and not every god damn nation on this planet needs to have it’s own tree.

It was mostly designed by Germany and uses a modified Marder chassis. There is no reason for it not to be in the German tree.

omg… u serious?
pls take like 2min to think what this sencence of yours means and then reply again.

Why are we talking about integration, if this is about the Netherlands being a German subtree then being allies and neighbours is more than enough as Finland being in Sweden shows?
