Sons of Attila - Rumor Round-Up and Discussion (Part 2)

A mandatory livery as well for them

Honestly I think if the introduce it they would introduce a earlier hawk 200 with earlier model AIM9 like the 9P with skyflash etc so it fits into a BR were it’s flight performance doesn’t cause it to suffer. 9.7/10

Wont have BVR that low, but yeah, could be even earlier AAMs at that mark. Its jsut we dont need anything at that BR, we have a lot there already, so some more 10/10.3/10.7s is what the air tree needs (along with of course a decent 11.7 or 12)

The GR3A jag, indian jaguar variants and stuff like SAAF mirages including the funny Mirage F1 with a MiG29 engine will fill the 10.0 to 11.0 gap

Yeah, Jag GR3A would be good, the others though, I feel are unnecessary at the moment

Right now, as far as I can acertain, UK could recieve:

FIGHTERS:
Mirage III (SAAF)
Atlas Cheetah (SAAF)

BAe Hawk 200 (UK)
Eurofighter Typhoon DA.2 (UK)

Harrier GR.9 (UK)

PC-9M (Ireland)

Serious question why have you listed a MiG29 under Ireland 😂

Because it’s very late and I was speedrunning lmao

Irish MiG-29 (very historical)!!!

I think that’s about all the useful jet aircraft or attackers I can think of though. Anyone else?

Pakistani F-7 (export J-7) maybe for the United Kingdom? Would be fine if it went to China though.

Eh. I don’t see Pakistan and India in the same tree. Those two are like South and North Korea.

@Smin1080p question, why was it decided that the F-16A block 10 come before the F-16A ADF block 15?
the ADF comes first on the dev server, so would it not make more sense to put it first?

I guess it might be in Chinese TT, just like A5C

Do you know if the devs have denied the request to add the PSO’s hull armor? Or is the dev server not over with its changes yet? I see that they’ve fixed the other issues brought up about it, so this leads me to think they either are working on it, or are ignoring it for now…

Should go to China

i think they wont since the main point of the PSO is to be an urban roadblock/road clearing vehicle hence the frontal dozer. rather than allowing the dozer to be removed i think it’s better if it functions like it is IRL, able to clear tank wrecks, rubble, or even push light vehicles away, and not as a digger blade like how all dozers are currently implemented.

if you want a leo with extra frontal hull armor like the 122 it’s preferable to wish for a leopard 2A6EX, leo 2A5 TVM prototype, or leopard 2 SG instead. (the latter two are things that wouldn’t be that gamebreaking as lets say a 2A6 with a 122 hull as it seems)

Not quite.

The entire point of the JSF (Joint Strike Fighter) is that all partner nations contribute to and manufacture parts & assemblies for the aircraft. It was done not only to strengthen trade and information sharing but promote defense industry job growth in countries that require it.

While it is designed mostly by Lockheed, only a portion of the aircraft is truly American as the U.S. is only considered the primary customer.

Britain is the sole “Level 1” contributor to the program with over 10% of the cost fronted by them. Italy, a Level 2 contributor, also fronted a significant amount of development. There are many countries that have contributed in Level 2 or 3 capacities towards the aircraft.
