Sons of Attila - Rumor Round-Up and Discussion (Part 2)

Does it say an 11th nation is coming in the roadmap though?

Bonuses for researching new in-game nations

“Currently, War Thunder features 10 playable nations, and we have no intentions of stopping there! However, as we introduce new nations,” then talks about vet players not liking new trees.

So it’s clear we are getting another one. I keep asking Smin if this plan is still active because of the Hungarian sub tree but he never answered.

Also there are these two interviews to consider too.

“We know that many Polish players
are asking for a separate Polish technology tree.
While we can’t confirm any specific plans,
let’s just say we’re committed to finding a way to
add all the important military vehicles that actually existed.
As you can see, we found solutions for South Africa and Israel,
so there may be a solution for Poland too.”

“Our experience with the South African and Finnish tech subtrees has shown us
that even a small number of weapon producing countries have something of interest to players.
There isn’t enough variety to form a full-fledged tech tree,
but there are some cool and interesting weapons with interesting designs.
We are currently researching whether we can do something in Hungary and some other countries.”

That just means any nation you haven’t researched yet.

That isn’t really in the roadmap though, like it isn’t assigned to one of the updates, it just something that will happen eventually which I don’t think anyone doubts

To be fair some of your recent posts like the ones with polish ground top tier seem like borderline trying to bait out reactions regarding C&P than they seem about excitement.

At least those are my observations.

I mean they’re right, the veterans went screaming and crying about half of thr vehicles in the Hungarian sub tree

and I don’t see it being any different with a polish one

if we’ll see polish aviation however I’ll be the first to sign up for Beta testing

besides that, has there been anything new since the Dev server closed?

Bruh… It can’t load more 6 missile

W/ the way they’re starting to implement Rank 6 Bluewater, it 's possible there won’t be any at the introduction of Rank 8 Ground either - atleast initially.

Isn’t the texas a “new” addition to rank VI naval?

Yes.

Im really confused by Arkansas this update like just wait for proper Naval progression rework and move Des Moines up from rank 4 to 5. Its 6.3 and Newport is rank 5 already no point of it staying rank 4 when rank 6 is added.

Poland received M1A1 FEPs this July.

Did they used the V2 as a stop gap for this ?

We have 105 Leopards 2A5.
Also we bought 116 M1A1 FEP (14 delivered already) and 250 M1A2 SEPv3.
However, the M1A1 FEP received new, better armor and have been modified to meet our requirements.
We also use 28 M1A2 SEPv2 in Abrams Academy to train our soldiers right now.

Iirc the M1A1 FEPs are already a stopgap for the SEPv3. As far as I know they will later be upgraded to M1A2 SEPv3 as well.

SEPv2 was only for training iirc.

No. We have the heinkel he 219 a-7. The b-1 has a longer wing span, better engines and a rear gunner

Didn’t these FEPs just get pulled from storage after the USMC got rid of them?

They don’t seem to have received the SEPv3 armor package.

It’s not a SEPv3 armor package. They were taken out of storage, disassembled, sandblasted, then the armor was replaced with the EAP (non-DU, Export Armor Package, GDLS assured us that the new armor has properties comparable to, or even better to, the old DU armor.) and the turrets were given new numbers, ending with the letter E. So once again, it’s not the armor like in SEPv3. Also SEPv3 has 20cm thicker frontal armor of the turret then SEPv2. It’s worse. But it’s better then the old DU from M1A1 FEP.

Also they received new L3Harris’ RF-3143 tri-band rigid antenna with new base, which replaces the old VHF whip antenna.

M1A1PL2

And other modifications.
