The ET is pointless? Its literally an R27ER, with an IR seeker lol. It’s still better than any IR missile in the US tech tree by far. On top of that the Mig29 is getting R73s too lol.

With all due respect, what do you know about top tier? In the less than hundred games in the Mig29? That you do not like sparrows??? With that KD in the mig29 I totally understand the strong protest of any new western missiles. But your protest is not founded in any real unbiased logic or experience. You are a soviet main that gets smoked in every fighter you touch. Of course, you are going to be against any new missile for other nations.
Additionally, if you actually played top tier, you would have understood the potential of IRST and long-range IR missiles with the R24T would probably have better than 1:1 KD in the MLD.

It could also carry AMRAAM. If its a late addition with those, (as a patch early tester) then some hope maybe for SHAR FA2 as well. Would have a similar power.
The CDK of it has the Italian Navy roundels on it im pretty sure

Though i’d be very much concenred that Italy has gotten so much this update. A new tree in ground and a top tier jet, even though they already had one. is a little concerning, though being a minor nation does offset that a little

Yeah, Britain has by my count 4 native jets it could get top tier between now and then, but italy might be even less
