Cause AAM-3 is 9M equivalent.
And AAM-5 is R-73 equivalent.
I honestly expect AAM-3 & AAM-5 at around the same time.

Yeah, but I mean they dont necessarily have to be placeholders, arent 9M better than L/i? So if we get 9M then it should just keep 9M.
But still gunna struggle unless they give it ASRAAM :P

Or they can give the F.3 the radar strength it actually had. the F.3 radar was extremely advanced for its time. You can see that by the unique modes and scan rates in game. But in WT it’s chaffed off in the first burst and slightly turning in any direction immediately breaks lock, even at ACM ranges.

If that was the case, i’d just vote for the Tornado Gr4;. that will have 2x ASRAAM but a fun A2G loadout to go with it
Right? I have zero clue why GJ has a vicious distaste for the British tech tree and native weapon systems. The country literally invented radar and they cannot maintain a lock in the most ideal conditions at close range? an F.3 an interceptor has to get within 2km to effectively deliver a BVR missile without it being chaffed off like nothing?
GJ has a distaste so bad for Brittain that instead of just giving their tanks proper rounds (which makes them no money, but effortless) they rather slap together a Indian T-90 and say, “here you go, it’s because we care that you are suffering and need Russian made tanks to compete. So, buy this.”

Indian T-90S is free, not paid.
If Gaijin hated Britain they would’ve avoided giving them Chally 2E & Black Night.
T-90S wouldn’t be added.
Tornado F3 wouldn’t be the F3, but a non-AMRAAM capable version.
2023 is the year of prepping for AMRAAMs & IRCCM, and Tornado F3 is part of that process.
