Yeah… that one would really really suck
Oh yeah, I agree, the precedent with the T-90S and the Canadian ADATS means that basically anything goes at this point, I’m just arguing that that should not be the case.
Well no as Canada and Australia is still ruled by our king so there for we can still claim their stuff
Nor do I, but with the precedent set, We “could” and maybe “should” get the Australian Abrams. Its the “mess” theyve made for us. and it was entirely unnecessary
But yeah, you are right, the King is still head of state, where it isnt in India
They’re not ruled by the King of the United Kingdom. They’re ruled by the King of Australia and King of Canada. They’re separate entities, legally, even though they rest in the same physical person.
King Charles III rules over Canada and Australia as the same as usI don’t get your point
Actually, now Gaijin messed up requirements for sub-tree and other nations vehicles. Like, just count.
- We have sub-tree of vehicles, that are related to main TT because of its former status of a colony and current Commonewealth stauts (so historical connections)
- We have many vehicles that are exists as an export/built by
- We have sub-tree of vehicles for a nation, because of their political ties and geographical distance (Fin+Swe)
- We have vehicles that are exists only because of geo closure (Vietnamise Phonk Kong)
Maybe i forget some, but in the end, we have super controversial choices. Like, M1AIM for US, while T-90S goes to briatain (Despite both being Commonwealth members and AUS is much closer politicaly). We have ARG vehicles with resoanable placements (TAM) and fully unreasonable (Kuirassier). We have sub-tree, that literally have zero connection to a main tree (Hungary). Basically, now we can add anything to anything.
So yeah, time for South Korea in Japan TT. 0_0
Again they are not part of the “Commonwealth Realm”, i.e. King Charles is NOT their regent, and they owe no governmental loyalties to the UK, and have not since 1948.
They are part of the “Commonwealth Republic” so they play cricket, sometimes football and rugby albeit poorly, with the UK and other commonwealth nations.
Its word play, The British Royal family is head of state for 14 countries. But those 14 countries could “technically” be considered part of the same kingdom for the purposes of vehicle acquistion in game
gaijin adds stuff however they please, that’s the only rule
Exactly
They’re not though, but I don’t think this is the right setting to explain how the Monarchy works in Commonwealth realms, especially since Gaijin is just going to add any vehicle it wants anywhere it wants with little to no actual logic.
Taiwan and China is a politically hot addition.
Though I think South Korea into japan is actually a good shrot term solution, their relations have improved in recent years and it wouldnt be a hot addition.
The only 404 logic is you right now
I agree… Like I said. its messy. But I think there are some vehicles that make more sense that others though. CF-18 from Canada could be an interesting addition to the UK tree and totally redudant to the US tree that will ahve their own. But a T-90 from India just feels… Random
So we are at the point that if countries who have some sort of alliance (not even military) where each government involved works with another to some degree now gets the other’s weapon systems in War Thunder?
Ok what about actual military alliances like NATO? If Brittain has a right to the T-90 because of a non-military alliance with India.
Then surely Brittain has a right to all the weapon systems of the United States being part of an ACTUAL military alliance called NATO.
Sorry if grasping how Commonwealth realms work is too complicated for you.
I disagree there as well, but that’s because I think trees should actually be unique, as opposed to a hodgepodge of whatever Gaijin can fit in there.
The issue there, is that coutnries like SA and India dont have their own trees, so their vehicles have to be added onto another nations tree. But US has their own tree and therefore it would be added duplicates.
(though I was thinking a mechanic that allowed you to “lease” 1 vehicle from another nations tree if you had it researched could fun.)
