Sons of Attila - Rumor Round-Up and Discussion (Part 2)

Thought that was super odd two, since technically TWO different F-16s were added, the US C model and the D model for Israel.

I feel like the F-16D is likely gonna lead into the F-16I Sufa, when the time comes (that’s not gonna be a fun time for ground targets lmao). Then after that would come the F-15I Ra’am, with the Barak II and Sufa likely being foldered (or maybe not).

The F-15s (if Israel gets both an A and C) are very likely gonna go after the Kurnass/Kurnass 2000, since the Eagle superseded the Kurnass in air-to-air.
So that then leaves the Netz/Kfir line as empty, unless a later single-seater Viper can come (or IAI Lavi, but I very much doubt we’ll ever see that since there’s very little info on it)

So the R27ERs are getting removed from the SMT because the jet is getting r73s? Where is that stated? Never mind you said its a guess.

Though I do believe the R27ERs are broken. The R73 is not any better than python 3 missiles and is worst in some in some aspects such as acceleration and top speed (pythons a full Mach faster) and far less burn time (far less chance they are detected after launch compared to the R73 with the huge forever lasting smoke trail they currently emit.

Just keep the ERs, ETs and R73s and give the amraam to the F-16. Give people some level of unique capability for the F16 comparable to this new mig29 which is hilariously easy to slaughter everyone with my better radar, R27ET, R73s and R27ER.

Goshdarn, it looks so good

I’m hoping the loadouts shown on the Rus dev stream were unfinished, and that it eventually does get CMs. Magic IIs I could leave or take, but CMs would make this thing worthwhile (to me at least)

I dont know specifically about the SMT but ive heard that the mig29 couldnt actually carry R-27ER but the R-73s were broken and got then instead as a stop gap.

As a non-F16 nation Main. I already cannot fight the Mig29 we have in live. The Tornado F3s only real hope is 9Ls. R-73s remove that advantage. R-27ETs are just broken until MAWS or AMRAAM

Just had another thought… soviets are a very strong nation. They get a lot of the less experienced playerbase. Do you really want be giving people who dont even know what IFF 99% of the time. An IR seeker with the range of a R-27ER.

My god. The TKs

@Smin1080p Any info on Barak II receiving the AGM-65D? Despite it being a more modern F-16 variant, it really lacks good armament, no Mavericks no Pythons and no BVR is pretty no sense (I know it’s maybe just a placeholder).

Also, the 9P modification is kinda unfair, since the F-16C don’t need to struggle with 9P/9J’s and having it’s BVR missiles and the SMT already having it’s R-73’s ready to use and research on Tier I

More worried about the r73 teamkill spam. Hopefully the soviet air tree lacks the paypigs that GE their way (f14/f16 usa on patch day). But the 23MLs will eventually reach it…

@Smin1080p Will the F-16C be able to slave its radar to the HMD as it can with its missiles?

An ASEAN sub-tree might prove to be less controversial than one with South Korea, especially as long as only tech-tree gaps are filled instead of wholesale insertion of vehicle lines.

Japan currently trains with, and sells/donates military equipment with multiple countries in the region. They have strategic partnerships, and are generally friendlier towards Japan compared to SK’s with the latter. Plus, Thailand, one such country, has history with Japan from WWII.

Resentment against the Japanese for their actions during WWII has greatly decreased in most of SEA, especially with most of the older generation gone now. Post-war Japan is what most are familiar with. The Koreans are reminded regularly of what Japan did and so resentment is still high, but that is decreasing ever so slowly, but the controversy remains.

Yeah here in Indonesia the general stance towards Japan is that they love most things about them.
Also SEA has a different focus from a country drawing maps over their territories 😅
Even then they aren’t too fussy about it, it seems.

Is there anyone checked the SU39’s loadout? I think this report will make su39 get 4R73 or 4KH29

Exactly. Not to start any fights, but there’s only one causing major issues in the region.

But don’t forget there are so many vehicles from other nations, I don’t know what will happen if Gaijin adds Thailand to Japan, especially some of the vehicles are made in China, which is still a potential issue.
If the Chinese got to know their vehicles like VT4 or VT5 in their feud’s TT line, I am pretty sure they’d be angrier than the Koreans.

Both WT and Enlisted won’t connect for me. Gaijin hamsters all ded?

Yep, no one say the name though.

If that is not a feature of the real-life F-16C, then that’d be incorrect to have.

There are a number of Japanese vehicles in the Chinese tree already. I think it would only be fair for the opposite to happen.
Not like it truly matters, they’d never do it because Gaijin, of course, is trying to avoid mass DDoS attacks.

It is, tho. In ACM, apart from the box, the 10x60, and bore lock, it could slave the radar

NVM, it seems that you can slave the scan zone in ACM, but not with HMD
