I liked the 23T and 24T but with two R-27ER the T made no sense, it is slower, has less range and Ir currently is rather unreliable. The ET can reach out to unaware targets so you wont have to lock on to targets that are deafeating your missile unknowingly because they defend against someone else as often as with the R27T.
and how that balance?
when Russia get R73 and ER while US need to use 9L and 7M? not to mention other nation that are worse than those two nations

Leo 2 PSO has bad thermals, no addon armour where it counts, should be foldered with 2A5…

And often enough that doesn’t matter. Balance certainly has been way worse than it is now. But as I said previously MiG-29A would have been fine with R-27R/T as well as R-73. It#s the historic armarement of that aircraft as well. Removing ER completely makes little sense now but keeping exclusive for the SMT would be fair enough.
gaijin is a joke if they’re trying to sell the PSO to us as an upgrade. It’s absolutely terrible considering we waited 3 years for this. We just want a leopard with better armor.

I just re-read the pre-order bonuses and saw that Arkansas comes with the Gaijin Shogun title.
Fucking why? That’s such a cool title expended on something so irrelevant to it. Why not save it for (a few years from now, granted) Missouri, or if we ever see more pre-dreadnoughts, Mikasa?

Sure, as soon as/in conjunction the R-73 bug/model fix!
the options are either
A: just not give Dtech at all (is this even an upgrade at all then?)
B: give Dtech but without the dozer (as the dozer blade could not be mounted with the Dtech module)
C: make some stuff up and give it Dtech and the dozer at the same time
B and C should be the obvious choices if gaijin wants to actually give germany an upgrade they’ve been waiting 3 years for.

Israel and US are getting new F-16s and Soviets getting a MiG-29SMT whilst Britain gets a downgraded Sea Harrier FRS.1 already in-game. Be happy you guys never get the leftovers unlike Britain and Japan lol.

from what i can find the MGS was not upgraded…
The same way I had to use Mirage F.1 against F-14 and am using Mirage 2K with gimped low speed performance and on top of that gimped missiles.
All you have to do is defend against that R-27ER then you can engage most often. Only on rather short range there is not much you can do. But before that soemthing similar was the case for every plane without AIM-7F and M.
I keep being outranged by those even though my Super 530D should have no issue but in game drag weight and what not are not up to scratch so the time to target is actually worse.
AI seems to be just Aircraft
