At least the nation of origin usually got the T-72 / F-16 along with the other user nations (or even alot earlier) and its often the better version as well. I wouldn’t speak up if Italy or Sweden at least would operate these units, but the current policy is meh. These strange rules that country X always gets all stuff from country Y, regardless what unit and what history is involved.
Or this Swiss Hunter. Same story. Gajin just stirrs up the community by these strange additions. No one really asked to get a british Hunter added into the German tree. Especially since its not really a meta jet with its two main weapon hardpoints, which are not really impressive.

still don’t make sense that Russians need R73 (1983) missile to fight against AIM-9L (1976) I don’t see the point why R-73 can be in the game but AIM-9M and AIM-9L/I can’t be in the game.

it seems like it, as when i was flying over enemy airfeild in vietnam, a random f16 that was not there locked me and it trigerred AI, so it is enemy plane
