Sons of Attila - Rumor Round-Up and Discussion (Part 2)

RWR changes for me are completely meant for FOX 3 introduction.

RWR changes probably have nothing to do with SEAD, they were necessary changes regardless, in fact the new RWR doesn’t really even help with SEAD as all the aircraft that can identify targets through RWR will have access to HTS pods or their equivalent if available

But F-100F from ROCAF different from F-100F from USAF ?

Umm yes, You guess dev might consider GPS guided bomb range longer GBU-15(V)2/B in Q4 ?

mh?

Yeah, though ASRAAM can hit anything in a 360 degreee radius of the jet and is not really defeatable. Its akin to Aim-9X not really Aim-9M. But if no Typhoon soon, then next options would be Harrier Gr9 or Tornado Gr4. Both may very well need ASRAAM to maintain any balance

Actually by all accounts, its the first step towarsa HARM being implemented. At least thats what the guys in the HARM thread reckon

I mean the HARM thread would come to that conclusion, but the RWR reworks are huge simply for air battles and the Radar bands were likely just the easiest way to separate what specific RWR can recognise.

Gaijin have already expressed their disinterest in ARMs before so I doubt this RWR update was because they wanted to add ARMs and instead for the much more obvious reasons of general gameplay improvements and ARHs

I think its both. Mainly gameplay improved, but also opens the door for it in the future

yeah it opens the door for alot regarding sead

Oh, only the largest surrender in British military history, that’s all.

and general defensive improvements like ECM, MAWS and seperate Chaff and flare counts

I think as far as Gaijin are concerned, the HARM will be the Phoenix of A2G missiles, it looks really good on the surface but in practice it largely ends up being dead weight with very low kill potential

I think its biggest power wont be in killing things, at least not in GRB. but instead as a radar supression tool. The threat of them killing something. SPAA will need to get smart about how they use their radar just in case there is a HARM carrier somewhere. With more advanced radar guided SPAA probably due soon. That dynamic becomes kinda interesting.

SB though, they are going to be fun!

holy crap. it’s almost 10,000 comment lol

i dont rlly care about UK or singapore - i was just no aware of that ;)

Does someone know about gzabi missile table list? Doesn’t appear anymore, only the radar list, which means all missile dynamics will be changed in a new data mine? or this list will be renovated ?

its back Guided weaponry data (in-game values) Honorable mention for Jaek_ for making amazing videos on missile on YouTube If you want to reach enlightment, then you have to spade the Italian heli line, no talisman/ premium/ boosters - Google Spreadsheets

This is pt 2 , we already hit 10k long ago, this is closer to 19,000

thanks, changed something, i heard the r-27 changed

R-27ER air-to-air missiles, R-27ER1 air-to-air missiles :
Drag Coef : 1.75 → 1.46
Fins AoA : 25.2 → 28.8°
Mass After Sustainer Burn : 208 → 211.5 kg
Booster Burn Time : 2 → 3.2 s
Sustainer Burn Time : 7 → 4.8 s
Booster Force : 73600 → 55275 N
Sustainer Force : 25575 → 26630 N
Max Speed : 1700 → 1750 m/s
Max statcard G-load : 30 → 35 G
Guidance :
Max G-load : 30 → 35 G
PID derivative term : 0.0 → 0.0
Proximity Fuse :
Delay : 1.7 → 2 s
Trigger Radius : 10 → 8 m

TL:DR R-27ER is getting an overall fix; harder to dodge at closer ranges, higher AoA, more Gs, slightly less range at low alt but more at high alt compared with live server
