Something of note: seems AIM-7 never got used on block 50 F16cs as they dont have the radar for it. So it’s definitely intended as an AMRAAM jet irl, but we’ll see if fox 3s make that a reality.

Block should have AN/APG-68 (V5) which, of course, can be used with Sparrows in STT. What do you mean that Block 50 “didn’t have radar for Sparrows”?
What does it matter if U.S has 1 or 5 jets when you can only spawn 1 in Air RB anyway? It’s not like we can bring all 5 jets to a match as if it were a lineup-based mode lol
Russia MiG-29A’s has been dominating with its superior flight performance since its introduction, and even more so since you got R-27ER, a radar missile with no equal ingame… and it’s only a matter of time (maybe this very update) till you either get R-73, or an even better MiG-29 with R-73, if not Su-27.

Assume you’re referring to a Mig 29SMT, that would actually make a lot of sense if they don’t want to add the R-73 to the older RU jets.
I will say that if the F-16C keeps the G/AOA limiter, Domimate would be a better word than counter for what the SMT will do to it, maybe Gripen will be more up to the task, or perhaps a J-10/later Mirage 2k variant.

The Issue is that Block 50 production began in October 1991. Also the AIM-7 refit efforts were precipitated by Egyptian interest in upgrading their fleet and not widely available since the AMRAAM was in service at that point.
If they were planning on adding AMRAAMS and R-77 this patch, F-16 would be in the teaser and devblogs would follow after the teaser. If they give us devblog for F-16 without AMRAAMS before the teaser, it’s not coming now. Period.
