they barely move anyways and as I said this will add complexity to the game, which is missing in Ground battles imo
That might present another issue then, if only NATO has effective anti radiation missiles then it could end up dominating which is something we want avoid
well no , the problem is that only russia has sth like the pantsir that can see spawning aircraft, it is aware and can shoot aircraft before other nations are aware, resulting in a possible air superiority for his team
at the same time Russia will get the highest range Mobile SAM systems so it’ll be an Asymetrical matchmaking
which is something I support

that is true, asymmetrical balance is a great concept if you can pull it off and it would potentially make up for the US’s lack of mobile SAM systems
probably but the problem were early ARMs
most NATO Nations simply rely on a different tactic for aerial superiority than the Soviets did with their many powerful SAM systems

well russia pretty much gave up to win in the fighter department against the nato and thats why they specialized in anti air systems instead

well thought out, S-300 even accounts for HARMs by being spaced out so fae most of the system won’t be affected by a HARM attack
jup, by i meaned more of the way of possible more mobile spaas like the pantsyr and tor systems, where western partialy only started developing equivalents again because they saw the necesarity of mobile spaa systems, i cant wait for my mobile IRIS T SL slingers
that thing was a Private venture tho
the german Defence forces stated pretty publicly that air defence is the Luftwaffe’s job now and thus systems like the Gepard and FlaRakPz. were abandoned
the happier am i that they decided to get skyranger and the already mentioned IRIS T spaa. Just gotta hope gajin fixes AHEAD at some point
