I mean the Italian example is Hungarian and Sweden players are basically trying to claim all of Scandinavia for their tree, so why not.

Italy and Britain have nothing till the EF-2000 so a Hungarian subtree makes sense for Italy and Britain already has a South African ground tree so an SAAF tree also makes sense.
Japan on the other hand will be getting the F-15J soon enough and if they were going to get a sub tree the consensus seems to be that it will be South Korea, so a Thai Gripen just seems like a stretch is all.

Yes, yes, the UK, Germany, and Italy all face the same problem, so it’s important to use sub-tree aircraft

Anything else they can get is air to mud focused, ie: Tornado GR.1B & GR.4, AMX and M-346.
** Both AMRAAM capable… but at the end of the day they’re still just Harriers. Be interesting to see where they end up BR wise given the advanced radars and weapons mated to brick like air-frames.

Not quite nothing is true, I forgot about the F-16ADF upgrade but that’s the only one that really tips the scales, the Harriers, Tornado and Starfighter are good filler but aren’t up to the level needed.
I will concede that Italy can probably wait a bit longer given the F-16, but Britain is in dire need of something new already.

Yes Swiss should be added, no it shouldn’t go to Germany which already have a huge tree with the possibility to add Argentina subTT… Swiss should join the France one

With an Austrian sub tree too. Iirc Austria or the Swiss did a vote to join Switzerland.
And it never happened for some reason.

As far as I know, Sweden isn’t alone XD it is both Sweden and Norway.
Edit: And I won’t mind if Swiss has its own TT but I jist don’t want it to be with the german one

the smallest state of Austria (Vorarlberg) did a referendum a long time ago to join Switzerland and Switzerland declined
claiming Vorarlberg is part of Switzerland or belongs to Switzerland is treated as Treason here
