I’m not sure what you mean ? In addition to not being in the game files, you can see that there 's no aircraft catapult on the ship 's ingame model - only the cranes for lowering lifeboats were retained amidships.

Uhmmm… you see the screenshot I just uploaded? It has catapult and Walrus on the middle of the ship.
And also, the image you uploaded. There are lifeboats on the rear superstructure, and in the amidship there are catapult.
The ‘real’ HMS KGV (1945) has no lifeboat in rear superstructure, and deck to store the lifeboats got one step upper than when there was only catapult.
and instead of putting guided bombs on the EJ Kai they decided on the AJ instead?
Both are completely ahistorical but for CAS an EJ Kai set up like a K2000 would have been a much better option.
the only option a EJ Kai has are JDAMs
f16AJ got added bc japan needed something to compete and it came out Japan got the Best F16 in the game so far
EJ Kai cannot carry guided bombs
It doesn’t have GPS to guide JDAMs
as for why it still doesn’t have GCS-1s, ask Gaijin
I would also much rather have an XF-2 with limited capability instead of the AJ, but that’s what we got

Exactly what I said (at least twice), and yet I still got jumped on.
Its normal for some nations to field sub par aircraft at top tier, always has been. Who and what these nations/aircraft are ebs and flows but someone always has the short end of the stick, right now its shaping up to be Germany and the UK since there’s not much to chose between an ICE and an ADV with new weapons.

sure but for the Swiss F/A-18 we need a Swiss sub tree which we don’t really have any reason to believe is coming
I guess dev not add new fighter aircraft toptier rank 8 next major update but maybe attack aircraft at early rank VIII from USA and new aircraft from french navy 🤔
I know it couldn’t carry guided bombs, but guess what, the F-16AJ can’t even fly, because it doesn’t exist, my argument was if they added the AJ for CAS reasons, they could have given the EJ Kai bombs it didn’t have instead of giving Japan a plane it didn’t have, understand?

And Japan, it seems, could not use Maverick-type assault weapons on fighters, but at most for self-defense and not on fighters.
The issue if that for Germany and the UK the gap between things like the F.3 or F-4F ICE and the EF-2000 is huge, it goes beyond subpar and into completely outmatched.

top tier aircraft only come to the research tree though, they got a Swiss event vehicle but that doesn’t mean all that much aside from linking Switzerland and Germany, it’s not an indication that we’ll get a Swiss subtree.
Close in ACM yes, BVR no. Comparable speeds and launching the same weapons, at least initially until IRIS-T and Meteor come along, god knows how far away they are though.
Better a Swiss sub tree than more test flight based insanity.
İt is also not an indication that Gaijin will add F-15 to Germany and at this point adding Swiss F-18 instead of adding F-15 to Germany does make much more sense.
Wether or not this will up to Gaijin even tho i dont like adding F-15 into German tech tree. İf thats what Gaijin’s wants then there is nothing more we can discuss about that.
