Comparing German Mig29 to SA Gripen in this situation is one of most stupid thing you can do.
Germany was one of the main operators for Mig29 while RAF didnt operate single Gripen.
You want to get best Swedish fighter jet before gettin Typhoon so you can fill that gap, thats a very cheap move to getting access to that plane.
Uk should recieve either Typhoon models or Cheetah first , after that Gripen should come to tree.

I have a higher rank in the Swedish tree than the British one so you can forget that I have some personal incentive here, the British from how I see it have one of the worst lineups of top tier aircraft now and future, the best way to remedy this would be a sub tree, the most likely sub tree is SAAF, I don’t think the RAF should get a Gripen, i think the SAAF should who are one of the major operators of the Gripen, there is no sense in delaying the introduction of an aircraft to a tree if that aircraft is already in the game, your arguments genuinely sound like gatekeeping which is just toxic, if you have no problem with them getting it eventually then you should have no problem with them getting it now
Iirc SAAF aircraft will mostly be used for events and premiums from one of the Q&As.

Gripen should be belong to Swedish tech tree first and British tech tree should recieve either Typhoon as a top dog or Cheetah for filling the gap.
Whether you accept it or not demanding Gripen for British tree in order fill top tier gap is an insult for Swedish mains and a cheap move for the get Gripen into British tree so early.
Also i prefer Eurofighter Typhoon over Gripen in my British line-up since Typhoon is superior to Gripen in the end.

Thats compeletly fine for me.
Germany, İtaly and Uk should recieve their Typhoons as a top tier plane since they are the one who’s operating Typhoons primarily.
