F-15C is 12.3 capable. It’s not a major jump.
And no one’s begging for 120s, people are talking about them since they’re essentially guaranteed to be added for the year of 2023.

I mean the F-15A is literally the next most likely aircraft in the US top tier lineup, what else are people supposed to be asking for here? If you main US and you want a new aircraft the the F-15 is gonna be it.

A-10C can use use AIM9M and maybe 9X in the future when it comes to the game, also the targeting pod can make it more efective against some SAMs so i hope it come to balance against SU-25T with its long range performance for CAS with R-73(not like R-73 is the monster everyone think woulde be)

without AMRAAMs it’s not that big a step up from the F-16A Block 20 MLU really, 12.3 puts it fighting MiG-23s and F-4Js which are about good enough to survive a match with 4 F-15s but will seriously struggle 1v1 which is how all full up tiers are so 12.3 seems perfectly reasonable

not necesarily Su-25bm , besides it being a carrier for shooting targets, but as example
F14 early, designated so it doesnt get all armament
A10A& A10A Late same aircraft , different designation so they give them different armament
f-4f&f-4f early
And here the proof for everything they said, most likely they will add a SU 25TM which is the original SU 39 designation and will give it the capability to carry R27 and R77
I do agree with what you’re saying, but…
I’m gonna go a tad “devil’s advocate” here and state what else the US could get besides the F-15, in terms of higher-tier aircraft:
Early F/A-18A (doubtful, since we just got the F-14B in the Navy line, but still possible)
F-111F Aardvark (likely to go in bomber line after F-105D)
AV-8B or AV-8B (NA) (more on the likely side, in the attacker line after the A-7s)
A-6E SWIP (decently likely option, since it could introduce the AGM-65F and AGM-65E Mavericks)
There’s also filler stuff (anything below 11.3), but that’s an entirely different can of worms…

Again, nothing does well in a full uptier but that is another issue, my point is that the MiG-23 is to an F-15 like the F-5C is to an Mig-23.
You can definitely kill an F-15 in a MiG-23 if you play your cards right, but the whole point is that the MiG-23 is meant to lose that fight.
