this will be a great move… korea didn’t have their tanks during ww2 as far as I know… so its totally justified… I’m looking forward to Korean tech tree in japan (just as south african in britan)
The dude was complaining about having to write a bug report because the devs won’t act on his forum rants.
The Yak-141 was a perfectly fun addition to the game, it’s hardly like some paper plane than never even flew, it was a project that got to late stage testing and was abandoned because of politics, the devs have done a good enough job implementing it with a realistic interpretation of what the final product might have been.

Well they just today announced how South Korea, Japan and Usa are increasing their security cooperation, so now it might actually be acceptable.

They already skipped the Su-11 & Su-15 i could see them also skipping the MiG-25 why would they do that, its actually simple they have only missiles all of them have ONLY missiles the Su-15 can equip gunpods but you have to decide between gunpods or missiles, but the MiG-25 cannot apply gun-pods at all so its stuck to its missiles, and how do you want to balance that its either too high and useless or too low and destroys everything so they prob. decided to skip it. A good alternate variant would be the MiG-31 which is from 1981 it fits the meta and has an internal gun.

So they should skip the Su-15 and MiG-25 because their armament is only missiles? Gee I hope Gaijin doesn’t realize they added the Sea Vixen a few years ago.

Thats a premium at a very low BR but if you want it sure put the MiG-25 on 9.0 it has only missiles which barely pull 10g
It justified when there’s a mutual defense treaty signed or an defense alliance is formed were both will aid each other in a conflict and will allow the stationing of troops and equipment on each other soil just like Australia-Japan or Anglo-Japan mutual defense treaty.
Unfortunately for now that isn’t the case.
Also individuals should not be used as tool to determine a Tree place in-game as many army’s consisted of many different nationalities.
This was under US command though and not ordered by the Japanese government itself.

Not during WW2 but did own some after WW2 that however doesn’t justify that. Using your example, S.Africa at least bought and used British vehicles making it more legit for them to be there then South Korea in Japan unless they sign a defense treaty ofcourse.

The Biggest problem with this leak is that something like a MiG 35 is just way too much a jump from the regular Mig-29, and it doesn’t make sense to add it when there are plenty of variants and planes in between that could be added. Not too mention that if people think our current Mig-29 is strong the Mig-35 would absolutely stomp.
Japan has to ask the US command for literally every change they wanna make, if they deny it they cannot do it, they are a self defense force after all.
Japan is technically still in the position where the GDR was for every change they had to send request to moscow just like the others.

Also Mig-35 is literally just a Mig-29 with different engines and an updated PD radar & avionics.
It’s no more different than F-16A Block 15 & MLU.
Its a MiG-29M if you want to be accurate its always funny when people overreact on simple terms R-73 is a trigger and all renamed soviet jets are a trigger aswell, let alone when the Su-39 was announced they nato horde went crazy there was a gigantic riot, because they thought its super modern, what they didnt knew is that its simply the export version of the Su-25TM.

This thread is often off topic enough as is, but the constant photoshopped leaks are just getting annoying and creating even more off topic discussions.
Someone already said it but I really miss when the mods could come in and yeet a bunch of the off topic discussions and fights that seem to plague this thread. I’ve been a part of it myself tbh but without the mods to step in, this threads really going downhill and it’s a shame
