Is there any possibility of adding r73 to the ka52 (which can carry in real life)? since the AH-1Z got Aim9M.
Fingers crossed its soon
I believe the initial 9-12 and 9-13 MiG-29’s should exchange their R-27ER’s for R-73’s, seeing as the R-73 was designed for and issued with the MiG-29’s lightweight WVR dogfighting capability in-mind. And East Germany ceased to exist before the R-27ER even entered service, so there is no historical justification for their use of the R-27ER-1. Aircraft missile R-27 (K-27) | Missilery.info
Good to hear this. For the UK would Canadian/Australian aircraft ever be considered? This may or may not be me wishing for the CF-18…
There are no double standards, so not sure what you’re on about.
@CodyBlues
Everything is “historically accurate”. There’s no picking nor choosing.
F-4F ICE, they’re literally not being left behind.
Not sure why you want 2PL to be 11.7.
@Morvran
Likely the October update.
Yeah… probably now, at least Gr7 has teeth again and FRS1 should actually be a fun jet in SB. But neither are good compromise for a decent BR12 addition. But with 9Ms coming to the Gr7, it does hopefully mean FA2 will have 9Ms. Its gunna need them
I think October is our major air update since this was our sub tree update with “minor” air additions.
Anyone’s guess on what December is.
It has already been well established the F-4F can use and did use Aim-9J’s.
Potentially, Im guessing one will be AMRAAM. Mig-29s/F-16s came in the Dec update and whilst it doesnt mean it will be the same again, I “could” see them adding it as a “end of year” thing. So could see something different from the Oct update, but I think if they failed to add anything substantial to Britain or Sweden, they may cause a riot
December will likely be rank 8 ground.
Isn’t the G variant the westernized one? With nato equipment instead of Soviet though? If I’m thinking of the right model it could get nato loadouts also
I wonder what that would include. I doubt a IFV for Britain, but other nations could be interesting
Not sure what you mean, because I can clearly see a double standard.
The mig-29s not getting their historical armament while others get their unhistorical weapons seems a lot like they pick and choose when to be historically accurate and when not to.
Show me an F-4F Peace Rhine flying with 9Js, i’ll wait.
spoiler: the rails it used were not compatible with 9Js.
My money is on the the AIM-120 and possibly the F-15.
And probably a aardvark.
Dude, don’t say that. Snailsoft is gonna another corrupt a wish and remove aim-9Js AND not give it aim-9Ls.
Yeah, most nations have a Fox 3 capable jet ready to go. I doubt F-15 this year, but guessing Q1 next year. Unless they add it for Japan. Before any new jets get added, Fox 3 is going to be needed moving forward. Britain has no suitable top tier jet (meant for A2A) that doesnt have AMRAAM. Sea Harrier FA2 is my guess on our next jet (won’t be meta, but might be fun)
My guess would be mainly new MBTs. 2A6EX Demo 2 or 2A6HEL for Germany, Leopard 2E for Italy, 2A5DK for Sweden potentially, some kind of russian prototype or T-90M, Leclerc XLR or Euro MBT for France. I don’t know what the US, Britain, China and Israel could get. Japan already has their newest MBT.
It was basically the only missile apart from 9Li (IRCCM) and IRIS-T that was compatible with the rails F-4F Peace Rhine used.
Currently we have nothing more than a fantasy set-up with missiles that could not be used on it. Gaijin won’t do anything about it either way since Smin himself said F-4F has 9Js for “balancing reasons”, then again 2PL doesn’t get DM53/63 even though it’s at the same BR as AIM which is better in every single way.
