Some questions about naval arcade

I’ve been through the aviation section and progressed pretty well in the bluewater fleet so I’m starting to play around in the coastal fleet. One question I’ve always had no matter what genre I’m playing is: if I’m in a vehicle with a battle rating of say 3.0 and the game I’m in has a battle rating of 3.0 why are there almost always other vehicles in the game with higher ratings then that? Just doesn’t make any sense to me and tends to take the fun out of the round trying to defeat a vehicle that’s a rank or two above yours.

Also - what’s the best way to aim in the smaller boats?? The binocular view is good but I tend to run into things or ground my boat when using it. If I use the outside view and zoom in as far as possible I seem to do ok until I start hitting the target. Then that hit indicator blocks my view until I’m missing again because I can’t see the target and I have to start over trying to get hits again. It’s kind of necessary to know when you’re on target or not but at this point I’d rather it be gone altogether or preferrably show up somewhere else on the screen where it’s not directly in my view. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

All matches feature a 1.0 BR spread. If your lineup is 3.0, you can get:

  • 2.0 - 3.0 match (full downtier)

  • 2.3 - 3.3 match (partial downtier)

  • 2.7 - 3.7 match (partial uptier)

  • 3.0 - 4.0 match (full uptier)
