Rewards are done by action mades,… if you do no action then the skilled guy without premium is making more than you

Not really as RP is tied to match duration, win condition on top of performance.

And considering air takes about 5 minutes per game, rewards are atrocious no matter what, on average you get like 2-3k RP

I’m trying to list down the issues that people are having with the game that they think could be fixed.

Well and sometimes (25-35% of the times) i do got 3k to 5k RP rewards while being a non-premium vehicules, and non premium vehicules.

The problem ain’t the match duration (barely playing longer than the current META) but essentially to reach a number of Activity/Kills.

In High tier matches, for a lost game:
1 kill gives you about 1k RP
2 kills gives you about 1.7-1.8k RP
3 kills gives you about 2.4-2.5k RP
4 kills gives you about 2.8k RP
5 kills gives you about 3.3k RP (unreliable data, happened to me one time to do 5 kills but loose the game in high tier)

But that’s why you should prioritize safe shots, and positionning instead of Mid-map Rush,…

Bring old ranks/br’s before update 1.29 and everything will be fixed in one go.

adding a 0.5 wouldn’t be any sort of “new BR system” or major change. Imo it would be useful for tanks like the Tortoise which is kinda OP in downtiers but trash in uptiers. moving it from 6.3 to 6.7 would make it’s uptiers even worse. 6.5 however would keep it out of range of 5.3s, without making it face 7.7s.

I’m not sure taking off and everyone flying left and fur-balling in the middle is any less arcadey…

No, it wouldn’t be a “new” BR system, but it would be a major change. First, considering all vehicles would have to be “re-evaluated” and given appropriate new BR’s, most would stay the same, but many .3’s & .6’s would need to go up or down to accommodate the additional BR to be added, the .5 Thing is the current system they kinda threw everything outta kilter as the lower end 0.3 is actually a 0.33 and was rounded down. While the higher 0.7 is actually a 0.66 rounded up. This throws the “make the BR spread 0.7” dysfunctional mathematically. But . . . by changing things to a 1.0, 1.25, 1.5 & 1.75, you can do some decent decompression all up the BRs and by making the BR spread for matchmaking 0.75, you basically get the best of both worlds. It would still be a 3 “steps” up or down formula, but changing things adds BR’s to work with all across all the BR’s. And again, the #1 biggest drawback to that whole idea(which I like and support, but . .) is that it would be super labor intensive and prolly take a very long time. And even then . . would it really make the players happy? . . plus what about queue wait times? . . I mean it looks/sounds good, but being pragmatic . . is it practical and useful? Really hard to say . . I just don’t see it happening . . . if they started tomorrow, would we see it in 26’ or 27’??

not really. Only a few vehicles would be moved to the X.5 area, and it wouldn’t have an major gameplay changes aside from them facing few tanks than B4.

I have several points I’d like to add as a Naval player, but it’s easier to just be shameless link my post on how to improve Naval. If I’m forced to pick one big complaint above all else is the need to severely decompress Naval and rearrange plane BRs in Naval games accordingly so top tiers and would-be-top-tier battleships won’t run into Cold War+ jets.

Yeah, but still be a huge undertaking. And something often overlooked by most players too is that BR’s are not set by performance of the vehicles, so much as by what the game makers think that vehicle should face in battle. There are BR “groupings” I suppose, where they take into account all the vehicles within a specific “spread” and try to balance them that way, which quite difficult. They do make BR “adjustments”, which largely seem to be off performance, as much as they can see for the stats/data they look at. And also you have to look at the bigger picture, it would not just be a few tanks in a certain area, it would be ALL vehicles across the board. Like I said, I support the idea of this 0.5 being added in, I just have my doubts that Gaijin would go for it or be willing to do all that work to make it happen . . . especially for something that would not directly increase revenues. It’s much more than a simple “QoL” change . . . . .

They care less for performance and more about earnings, that’s why the game is as bad as it is.

agreed about the air spawns it only makes sense to give aircraft with an extremely long and slow takeoff run airspawns.

All aircraft should have airspawn

i really dont think airspawns are much more arcadey than 16 planes taking off at the same time from a single airstrip

I wish it was a fixed rate of X with the Y multiplier of the vehicles Rank and BR.

I’ve had matches where I mop the floor with my enemies, but we lose because I’m the only person of 5 left, only two of the others left are competent players usually. Had this really dope last stand on Advance to Rhine in an Alternate-S, I was the only person left in the match, and I held my position until they had CAS in the air.

I despise 60% of the maps for ground.

It is the sole reason I won’t spend money on this game anymore. All my other complaints about the game are minor annoyances in comparison to the map design and map changes that have been happening.

If I rate the maps I play in a session 1 to 10, my average rating for a session of 20 matches is a 3/10. I have absolutely no control over avoiding maps I hate (except banning 1 map). Often times the match maker enjoys putting the same 4 maps in rotation over and over and I can’t ban them all.

If anything makes me quit this game it won’t be balance issues, BR inconsistencies, the grind, bugs, or bias it will be the garbage juice maps.

I’d rather have queue times be 20 minutes and only play maps I enjoy than be forced to play Severesk 5 times out of 20 games.

There are however those far and few glorious days when you get Pradesh 75%.
