Another hilarious thing is that the LMUR will most likely loft higher than the Abram’s Trophy APS, making the Abram’s new APS completely useless and DOA, while JAGM doesn’t get its correct loft angle (bug reported and accepted 8 months ago) and will get intercepted by the T90M’s APS

Same way Black Night & Merkava Mk4M are.
Just focus on using APFSDS with tanks, and you’ll win more matches bringing better equipment & tactics anyway.

they could just increase the dart’s pen value to it’s go through ERA like butter but you’re right they are not gona do that. Nerfing Russia is not in their plan
its like we just missed the abrams there and focused just on the t90… also since when was russia king of mbts? everyone knows russia is carried by its crazy lineup, not the mbts itself.

Because it changes nothing of any importance? And until we get confirmation that any of the multitude of issues with the Abrams are fixed, why assume that they are?
As previously mentioned the APS probably won’t have the angle to deal with LEMUR as they selectively have access to a a much higher lofting angle so come in much steeper.
It’s a SEP so Same Exact Protection, so no improvements there.
Gaijin erroneously believes M829A3 is no improvement over M829A2, so is unlikely to be faithfully modeled.
And for all this it gets to be even heavier so losses out yet more of the mobility edge it supposedly maintained, so its of no worth to High Skill users, and looses the Side skirts for the privilege if removed.
The LP-CROWS doesn’t have an option for the 40mm Mk. 19 AGL or FGM-148 that would provide an option to deal with light armour.
It’s simply not really got any upside over the M1A1 or -(HC)
i understand your concern, but i should note that my lmurs do get intercepted by aps relatively easily. ive never been able to kill a merkava 4m (trophy aps, 35 degrees vertical protection) without spamming to use up all the charges just for 1 kill.
lmurs are not the only problem cas wise,
trophy will do a great deal of protection against the onslaught of apache guardians and z10me spam

With the change to MITL, This will become much worse because you also effectively get to chose when to dive, so can make the approach much steeper.
if you removed all of Russia SPG and Light tanks it would be like any other tree

Don’t CM-502KG’s launch like, extremely fast? I mean I have no doubt it could still intercept some, but trophy doesn’t exactly have the fastest reload, so that might still go through with relative ease
mitl will only work for the last missile fired (or was it only one at a time? i forgot…) it could be meta but we have to wait and see.
also, vertical protection isnt a huge deal. for most war thunder matches at top tier, you will most likely be behind a hill sniping. that incline of the hill significantly increases your vertical protection
