I can see it!
Germany will start with U-boot Type IIA, while soviets will have Oscars in reserve.
Both types had no guns, so the game will be balanced.
Dude - i mean it is obvious…
Dude - if i post:
…it is imho obvious that it was an ironic comment.
A small hint:
“any definition of irony—though hundreds might be given, and very few of them would be accepted—must include this, that the surface meaning and the underlying meaning of what is said are not the same.”
Even admitting that there might be translation issues - if somebody thinks jokes about homeless people might be funny he deserves at least an ironic feedback.
As i have no hostile intentions, i avoided being sarcastic as this is actually a kind of verbal aggression.
If i actually wanted to be sarcastic, i might have posted this:
It seems like your assessments of the desperate need for a Swedish Naval TT fulfills the same exceptionally high quality standards like you remarks about homeless people, respect!
So you might see the difference, although they appear to be similar.
Irony is useful if you disagree but you want to be polite - and sarcasm just looks like being polite, but is actually destructive and aimed to hurt others…
In any case - have a good one!
Do not underestimate Sweden! They have the atomic bomb since the 16th century, it is called surströmming in swedish. Google it!
I have played navel but i am a flyer and a scuba diver
I would love to see a tier zero viking ship with oars and spears XD
all jokes aside they do actually have a quite formidable navy. it might not be large but the vessels they have are top class :)
Their main submarine is so good that the USA leased it to train against it because it “sank” their biggest aircraft carrier (surrounded by a fleet of vessels) several times during a training exercise in the pacific in 2005. *
i have no clue how their navy was previously but its been around for 500 years so they must have had something :P
Dude - i am quite sure that these WMDs disguised as fish are violating more rules of civilized warfare than you might guess…
A good friend was for about 2 years as expat there - he told me horror stories about your food, cost of living, income taxes and mostly important about the insane price level of alcoholic beverages there…
tbf irony and sarcasm is hard to interpret over text because sometimes (most of the time) its mostly a vocal thing… and besides some weird takes be made on the forums sometimes lmao so
We already sent some to Ukraine!

OFF TOPIC:
Yeah, the taxes and cost of living are high. but then again there is so many things that we get “for free”. compared to the USA we have free healthcare and basically free medication (the first 200$ we pay out of pocket but then its free for the remainder of a 12 month period). Free education, we even get played to go to college (gymnasium in Swedish) and university but it’s only around 325$ a month (and a loan we can take of around 750$ a month at a total interest of 0,6% when paid back).
so basically the taxes make it so that everyone has access to higher education and free healthcare. but i personally think they still are to high for what they are used for, many inefficiency problems in our governments budget.
…almost all countries in Europe have offer a better “life quality” for their people and the disparities of wealth (and health) distribution (on plain average and much more important on median view) are way smaller.
Way off topic:
Another friend went to the US and asked the local realtor for a condo in downtown in order to have some fun after work - imagine the reaction of the realtor as it was Detroit 25 years ago…
Unfortunately for the majority of young Europeans it looks like their future outlooks are not really promising - at least if they want to keep the level of life quality of their parents. Quality of life is imho decreasing for them.
Depending on your field of business the global competition created a kind of modern slavery, just look what is going on in Cebu (10-15k $ p.a. salary for 24/7 services with highly qualified staff) or how young Spanish guys are forced to work locally for low wages or to get abroad - or if you have friends working in London how realistic their chances are to buy a flat/condo just 50 km away from their office.
Btw - we closed our premises there thanks to the Oresund bridge - it proved to be much cheaper to cover the market with a DK/SWE hub from Copenhagen.
Have a good one!
I am an expat living in sweden and you should be proud of your system, it is not perfect but it is still one of the best. It is a model of efficiency for many other countries. And most importantly you know where the taxes are going! In my native country they often disappear magically and re-appear in offshore banks…
Guess which country I am talking about ?! One hint: Arsene Lupin!
I dont want to talk about the currency and the price of the energy in sweden though!
Really didn’t need to know that bit of personal trauma.
Besides what others have said, Gaijin doesn’t just make decisions for the game and gameplay, but it also with competitors. So even if naval isn’t popular with the WT playerbase, they invest in naval in the completion for market share with other games.
