Not really when they are my second or third most research nation. I’m not a fan of how they’re handled in game compared to other nations. Like, I’m so happy to see them get yet another upper tier SPAA that they really didn’t need.Thats cool. Or how the 27ER is still the best SARH missile in the game and yet we couldn’t even get an Aim-7P just to stay mildly competitive.

I sure do love slop updates. Are we not allowed to have anything funny anymore? There’s a certain area of practicality where its out of meta, but not dogshit, and that’s the zone where alot of fun stupid stuff falls in this game (e.g. nords, S-25s, airbursting unguided rockets). You’re looking at this like we want an OP meta absolute swiss army knife of a weapon, when we just wanted a curious niche thing that we would go “lol you got grom’d” in chat with. Same type of people who complain when gaijin doesn’t add anything unique.
Sorry what? The Strike Eagle is currently the best CAS aircraft in this game by far. Speaking for the American one, it retains the 6 potent AGM-65Ds, which are small, smokeless targets that don’t take a predictable lofting path (Try shoot those down if you don’t see where they come from), which got buffed recently to actually hit hard. On top of that, you get 3 more 2000lb Paveway III GBUs, while retaining 4 AMRAAMs and a wonderful radar set. Even before, the only thing the 25SM3 had above the F-16 was the fact the missiles lofted and had a higher theoretical range. (No guided weapon can be used at any higher range than 20km in this game due to the sight stabilization system giving up at that point, and tanks just straight up not rendering past there). Continuing on, those 20 SDBs (WHICH BOTH F-15Es GET ACCESS TO) are going to be comically stupid against AAs, considering you can literally ripple them across the map and simply saturate the airspace with them, what’s the counter??? On the topic of Brimstone, that’s still 9(its more than that iirc, correct me if I’m wrong but its supposed to be 16?) laser guided munitions that you can ripple off at targets, with one of the best targeting pods in-game?
The Su-34 already wasnt going to be the top dog, it has no thermals, only 6 AGMs max with comparatively less GBUs than the Strike Eagle if you take the GBUs, maximum of 2 ARH missiles if you take a maxed CAS load out.
I’m finding when using the 25SM3 that the most kills I get are when my enemy is so incredibly incompetent they just let me rack up killstreaks because I’m using actual SEAD tactics. The moment I’m on an attack run and CAP spawns I’m essentially helpless towards anything except hoping they frick up somehow and eat an R-73. So tell me brother, share some comical irony with me because I sure as hell am not finding it.

What? I have now played top tier SPAA in 7 nations and mavericks have always been easy to shoot down in 6 out of the 7 SPAA for me (with the 7th being the otomatic.
The US F-15E as it’s currently is is probably a sidegrade to the F-16C in that tree. Sure it has more ordenance but it also has worse flight performance and a worse pod.
I’m not sure about the F-15I, that one might be an upgrade over the F-16D (which I haven’t used so I can’t say).

The pod is most likely going to be updated/corrected on the 2nd dev server/live server, take this with a word of salt because I’m not Smin. Also, that amount more ordnance is not just a sidegrade, it’s a direct upgrade for CAS. Even then, the worse flight performance is true in theory, but even then the flight performance and avionics are still amazing.

Depends on what AA you are in. TOR and Pantsir really hold your hand in this regard as their tws style radar makes it easy to spot them in gunner zoom.
Stuff like the 2S6, ItO and even FlaRakRad iirc will also show the mavs on the radar, so with their slow speed they should be easy to intercept.
Only ones that have a bit more trouble are the rolands and the adats to an extend.
I guess it’s preference. In the test drive it felt like a bit of a bus, so I’ll likely stick with rhe F-16C personally. From my experience a good pantsir will likely not let you fire off that much ordenance anyway. Might as well take the better flight performance over the couple extra lgbs.

You’re giving SPAA players the benefit of the doubt that they have functioning braincells 9/10 times of the day lol.
Also personal preference is respectable enough.

People yap about how “Uh killing a base from 120Km is broken” but selectively leave out it takes several minutes for Grom-1s to hit their target, and that by the time they hit, the bases were long destroyed by conventional drops.
Meanwhile F-15E gets over 3x more glide bombs than the Su-34, with guidance that lasts half a match, along with AIM-120s and Mavericks, but that won’t be considered broken because it’s for US… Typical WT community hypocrisy.
