First of all, the GROM-1 isn’t even in live servers yet, so we have no idea how it’s going to perform. You guys are worrying over something that hasn’t even been released.

do you not understand the point of a dev server… the one they opened specifically to test stuff and it turned out fine? yet people still complained? also there won’t be an opportunity to see how it performs on the live server, it’s not coming to the live server.

It makes no sense that theyre removing the Grom 1 its pretty much limited to only being useable in Sim in the first place besides what excuse was even given im assuming its just “it can kill bases too fast” as if Sim isnt only played as a PVE mode anyway to grind events in the first place

It doesn’t matter that “(plane) can get there faster” guess what? In the time it takes that one plane to get to the base and destroy it, the Su-34 can have launched Grom salvos at all the other bases. And keep doing that when they respawn. Over and over again.
Any halfway competent sim bomber can see how this is an absolutely terrible idea and you don’t need to list weapon speeds to know that.

yes but who cares just let people be able to use it for fun i want to use it so then i can fire at ai and take out bases because now u cant even get to a base to destroy it if ur in a slower aircraft and the f-15E/I are 2 times faster then the su-34 and overall a better aircraft so yea.

im not even talking about flight performance, the 21bis stayed at a comically high br until recently, and the flogger (specifically the MLD) should be able to manually override the radar into MTI mode even when looking over the horizon.

And no, an Su-34 cannot land and takeoff 5 times within 9 minutes, that’s a minimum of 25 minutes.
Grom 1s do nothing for sim, coincidentally the superior Groms, Grom 2s, are staying. And Grom 2s are still slower than an F-15 with 6 napalm.

What ? How grom-1 will increase Su-34 engine performance ? It’s a heavier Su-27 with slightly better engine which is a flying airbus compared to other top tiers. Are talking about Israeli F-15E ?

Why they even need to counter it ? In TRB it’s nearly usless, in ARB it’s completley usless, in SIM it’s wasted ticket for worse version of a shitty plane with terrible missiles for a bomb that will need to specific condition to implement it’s capabilities which impossible in a balance where air ruled by blue force

Personally, I think there is a certain comical irony here. Now people who are excited for their Su-34 are experiencing the same frustration has US, British, and Israel mains are this update. Oh, you airframe had something that would have made it a step above others in some way and now it’s been removed? Oh no. That’s so unfortunate.

Sad to see Grom 1 go, seemed interesting. Idon’t frankly care about base bombers in Air RB since they are dead weight, but were they broken in ground battles? Sorry if it hurt sim, im not very familiar with it. I could imagine some other fixes if so.

I personaly think DEV server is biggest mistake…They should pay profesionals to test their updates and not players…its not it…just overall this is price for being cheap…
What a joke they let comunity kill everything on Dev servers just because they exploit it and think all off us are playing this game as fooking eSpot teams…

Eh, “professionals” would not be any better, prolly worse. Really I think Gaijin just needs to be less afraid of change, but also let these things play out in the actual live game. Meta and strategy can develop, and show if it is truly broken or needing removal. Hope it can come again later at least.
