From my limited research its supposed to be able to carry x4 AIM-120 or x4 Derby along with x2 IR missiles on the wing tips, Cant really find any solid sources though.
But being able to carry x4 ARH would be a godsend, as it currently stands this is easily the worst 12.7-14.3 I have ever played, apart from the Netz. Especially with how inconsistent the Derby missiles are, its very common to get 2 “hits” or “crits” with the only ARH missiles you carry. I’d go as far to say even the F-16AJ and MiG-29 are more competitive in uptiers than the F-5TH.
F-5 cant go past mach 1 at sl and takes a lot of time to get up to speed at high alt, only has 2 FOX-3s, and x45 countermeasures.
Kfir is one of the fastest planes in game with 2 more FOX-3s, more countermeasures and way better in everything.
Like, come on.

I’d like for you to prove to us that R-27ER is inferior to AIM-7F+.
I wouldn’t say better either, a typing error was involved.
The typing error has been fixed. Not sure how something that was never my opinion or stance got in the post.
Which is speculation, and I treat speculation as projection.
Everyone knows I believe R-27ER is at least slightly better.

I agree with every correct individual in the War Thunder community. I use all of them a citations for a number of my own beliefs.
I have documents and Statshark entirely in my citation pool.
This is why I had correct information on Mirage 2000 being better than Mig-29, and Mig-29’s thrust curve being incorrect.
This is how I can say that F-5TH’s inferior flight performance is the primary difference between it and Kfir C10.
Kfir lacks IRCCM missiles while F-5TH gets to appreciate them.
F-5TH is like if you gave Mig-21Bison R-77s with fixed drag, and people already claim Mig-21Bison should be 12.7 without having R-77s.

I thought toptierw couldnt get much worse than the Kfir C.10, and then Gajin (basically) added another C.10, but with worse loadout and one of the worst airframes in WT.
Im thinking of finally buying it and suffering with it in ARB until i get CAS loadout to support the Oplot in the GRB. Both of them are 12.3, the Oplot atleast has a reverse gear even if youre made out of paper against anything at those BRs, the F5 can somewhat turn so its not completely dead at that BR and you do get 4 mavs with a thermal pod.
The F16AJ is probably still a better option but the lack of thermal sight in the mavericks (since th AJ uses Bs) or a TGP all together makes it very weather and map dependent. Try finding enemy tanks that arent scouted and are stationary during bad foggy weather on a large map
